Buyer beware! 3rd row headrests are failing! No parts available at this time. Denali trim is all electric and the engineering is no good. All these will probably be recalled at some point. My seat is stuck down as well. Waiting on GM to contact….
I’m not sure to be honest. It’s the little things that people don’t readily know about that helps. You do good work so maybe think about keeping up on videos.
They do look somewhat similar but the ones on it aren't weighted or anything to be considered road ready wheels. It's almost funny how many people I've spoken to who really like the look of them
Great video. Would like to see you do a full review of this pickup. I did not know you could hit both buttons of the tailgate to lower like that. Much easier than how my salesman showed me. Anyway, thanks!
Thanks for the comment! As you can see I'm not the best at keeping fully up to date with my videos I post but I do try to circle back on them as I can. What about the truck in particular would you say bears more digging into?
Is it longer than the Chevy Traverse, or about the same size? Specs say this is almost 208 inches long while the Traverse is little over 204 inches long.
Great question! Yes the Buick Enclave's exterior length is slightly longer than the Traverse itself due to the trim and design being slightly different. The platform they're built on is the same as the redesigned 2024 Traverse and the 2024 Acadia with the 2.5L 4 cylinder Turbo motor.
Shout out to Matt! This may be a dumb question but I notice it has panoramic sunroof but doesn't have the 22 inch rims. I thought the only way you get that is with both. I ordered mine without bc as weird as this may sound I don't like the 22 inch rims. Anyways maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks
All good! There's a ton of different ways you can build one up & that package you're referring to is the Denali Reserve package which includes both the 22 inch rims & the panoramic moonroof in one. Also it adds the 16 speaker Bose sound system and performance suspension so it's quite a few upgrades in one. You can skip that and add just the moonroof as an option however without the Reserve package (assuming GMC doesn't put that on constraint).
Turbo engines The majority of the driving public do not know enough about engines, turbos, cubic inches, torque and horsepower to care. Just like and air compressor, the higher the pressure you run it the shorter the life of the pump, a car engine is a pump. Turbo's pressurize the engine to falsely make it put out more power. The 4 cylinders lose power as they get more miles on them, there is no substitute for cubic inches, horsepower and torque. I have built engines and turb's boost the pressure into the small engines creating more power at the expense of the life of the engine. Your maintenance cost will exponentially increase with a turbo when it fails. Any economy you may have gotten from the turbo will be totally lost on the replacement cost of the turbo.

Not in the Acadia, it is the only vehicle in GM's lineup with the 15" diagonal display for the center infotainment system. That said if you're looking for a solid horizontal display I plan to take a walkaround of the all-new Traverse which has that in it, I just need one to be available long enough for me to do that hah!
They are sharp vehicles & it’s the first year Buick has offered the model in the lineup. I haven’t heard of any plans to add an AWD option but who knows? Your entry option for Buick AWD is the Buick Encore GX. I’ve just uploaded a quick walk around of one if you haven’t seen one yet!
That’s because it _is_ just about as nice as the Denali, just not as great of quality for the materials. That’s where the Denali comes in, more luxurious materials.
Too much tech controlled from the screen. Gmc has a big problem with glitches when it comes to infotainment. 58k and then you have no working car. And they cant actually fix it. So now u are stuck.
To be a regular Denali. It looks cheap. To get the Denali with full body paint same color , 22 inch wheels, premium seating and super cruise. It will jump up over $5,000 over this Denali.
Pictures and videos don't do these vehicles justice. I'm unsure how you can see it as cheap even still, the biggest eye opener was the 15" diagonal screen is way more impressive in person than I expected it to be. As far as packages go you're referring to Denali Reserve Package and Super Cruise Package. Of course they'll add to the cost! Denali Reserve Package - $3,130: Panoramic power sunroof 16-speaker Bose performance audio system with sub-woofer 22" Pearl Nickel machined aluminum wheels 22" all-season blackwall tires Performance Suspension Super Cruise Package - $3,490: Super Cruise driver assistance technology Driver Attention Assist to ensure attentive driving Enhanced Automatic Park Assist Rear Camera Mirror You can't expect more car to be done on the cheap
Why people skip the welcome animations while doing reviews of the car, I’ll never understand that. Do you want it to be a surprise for buyers or something? I’m surprised he closed the door before starting the car, most don’t even have the sense to do that. This looks great though! I love the black and white interior with the white and black accented exterior. Very nice, GMC! 🔥
Hah, I have kicked myself for interrupting the welcome animation on this one. I’ve got it in our showroom now, I’ll get another uploaded that highlights that specifically 😅
@@mattrhodes5947 Awe, that was sweet of you. Thanks! If it doesn’t incorporate both the gauge cluster and infotainment system, try restarting the animation. It should include both displays. Never seen it in the Acadia though! 😆
Yes and no, previously you had the 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder or the 3.6L V6 engine as available options in the Acadia. When you compare the horsepower you actually go up with the 2.5L Turbo 4-cylinder (328) vs. the 2.0L (220) or the 3.6L (310) so you may be surprised. They still have the available options of either FWD or AWD in the redesign of course.
@mattrhodes5947 so they throw in a small turbo and get 18 more horses ? I'll pass on that , I rather have a Naturally aspirated V6 engine that's been proven the test of time with less stress , 4 cylinders on huge vehicles go through more stress , the more weight the bigger the engine should be , if we are talking about a small Honda Civic ok ill take the 4 cylinder but a full size SUV 6 passenger , nah .. you'll see they will have problems in the future
@@jrighteous1984No you’re just really behind in engineering and technology. Modern day 4 cylinders are much stronger than they were 10-15 years ago. Like previously stated an even smaller 4-cylinder used to be the base model engine and was adequate in power enough to overtake other cars normally if you needed to. The Silverado has even had a similar sized 4-cylinder motor that was designed to tow and haul - they’re apparently built to be more durable than you’re willing to accept. You do not need a 4-cylinder 2.0L turbo engine to move a Civic moderately quickly. These days, that’s a performance engine for a car of that size. You’re just way behind the times, like many uniformed Americans who want to reject the change and “downsizing”.
No that one did sell the same day I took the video. It's safe to say any of them that any video of a vehicle that is more than a month old have sold by now. The oldest used Cadillac we have currently is a 2016 ATS AWD in black it looks like. www.mcgrathauto.com/used/Cadillac/2016-Cadillac-ATS+Sedan-d5ae036b0a0e0a9232d05e6572674b17.htm
Honestly, I like this. Design looks good with plenty of features. The only concern I have is if the 3-cylinder engine can handle long road trips like say from Miami to Philadelphia.
Hey thanks for the comment! They are a sharp looking new one to explore. GM has been using this 3-cylinder for a few years now so there's plenty of Encore GX and Trailblazers with them on the road. I'm far from a mechanic myself however having sold vehicles for the last several years it really comes down to proper care more than anything. Speaking from personal experience mechanical failure is always a possibility regardless of how well you maintain your vehicle & until that happens don't be afraid to drive these as you should.
Hah, yup! Slip of the tongue on this one. 1.2L Turbo I-3 motor, 13.2 gallon gas tank, you'll get about 28 city and 32 highway MPG with it. Slick little hatchback that I need to find a home for!
I wish they put the 1.3 in it, GM does make it, its just a tweaked version of the 1.2 that makes more power without using more fuel. They offer it on the Trailblazer and Encore. Tiny turbo three bangers are actually quite good though. They sound better than four cylinders, and in the Nissan Rogue they even make 225ftlbs out of a tiny 1.5L. That used to be what your average V6 engine would make not that long ago.
Unfortunately this one sold the same day I took the video. All the vehicles we have on the lot are inspected & ensured to be road ready, safe vehicles through our service department. Personally I'm not a mechanic so I had to put a lot of faith in others when I started, still here going on 4 years now because they help me deliver quality product!
Hey, unfortunately that one was one I sold a few months ago not long after posting the video. I’ll be able to help you find something though next week when I return to the office!
Every car new or used carries its own set of potential issues. Not the biggest car guy but I've seen weird things happen on vehicles with less than 10K miles and under a year old, I've seen cars older than this run without issue for years. All man-made machines and none are perfect because we sure aren't hah!
