I love the fast trucks too! I may not have an unboxing every week, But I hope to entertain. Come join me in the adventure of the RC hobby. Where the possibilities are endless.
Running a desert truck on grass is a great way to get frustrated. Those handle amazing on loose terrain. That's what they're designed for. Obviously they will roll on grass and high traction surfaces.
This 3905? It must be if those blue velocity fit. Problem with diffs is mainly 2mm pins instead of being 3. They can't handle 6s that well. I run 6s 24/62 Robinsons spur.
@@RCMechanicGarage its not the length, not in differentials. Its an unfortunate detail fact that I found out when I increased to 6s. When I ran 4s it never happened. The diffs tiny bolts are lacking strength, 2mm is insufficient. I have just ordered PD Magnitron. Also check the Kraton V5 spec. Both Arrma & PD have put 3mm in diffs - better.
Thanks for posting the video and explaining how you fixed the leak. I had the same issue on the supply hose that runs from the tank to the fuel filter; a tear in the line due it to being too long and not secured properly causing damage to the line after excessive vibration. Do you recall what the inner diameter of the new replacement hose used in the video was?
Thanks for your video. Looks like it's a nice piece of kit. I just bought one already assembled that had never been driven. Had a first test drive and everything works thankfully. Now I'm gonna open it up and grease it like you did. If you read this, how is your experience with this rig? I'd like to put overdrive in it if possible.
@RCMechanicGarage Im putting a 2.5 in a older jeep and dont need power steering. Do you have old setup you took off the 2.5 and would you like to sell it? Thanks
Funcionalidad? Seguridad del mismo body, etc, etc?
Thank you for this! This isn’t talked about at all on any other videos, they just throw in the new servo and call that good. Did my first servo today and couldn’t figure out why my alignment was off by one notch
I really like that truck, the flat bed is cool! I have used clear nail polish a very little does the trick. I use the blue locktite now I only use a very small amount on the top 2 threads next to the screw head that way the locktite doesn’t get all over the inside of the screw hole it holds but easier to break loose. I learned that the hard way lol.
Nice looking body I got the same one. I ended up repainting mine to almost a gun metal color. I left out the front windows and added some awesome decals to the body. I got a helluva light kit red blue and white also installed and back bumper with lights and a good size front bumper that came with 4 5mm lights. It's starting to look nice. Heck it should I probably got $700 bucks in it 😭 I'm just waiting on the upper and lower linkages. If you got IG I'll send you some pics. Great Job by the way the rig looks nice!!
I got my upper and lower linkages being delivered today. The pics I got on IG is my build, I actually had to use 1 or my RedCat linkages to use on my SCX it works but my wheel base is only 12 I need .3 more.
@@RCMechanicGarage I bought a axial chassis off Amazon. The wheelbase is 313mm. I bought the silver linkages with the red spacer on each end made for axial SCX 10. They are 3 different sizes out of the 8 links I bought. One measures at 124mm end to end the 2nd link measures at 132mm end to end and the 3rd link measures at 139mm from end to end. I just need to figure out which link goes where so I can end up with 12.3in or 313mm.
Can you make a video on the upper and lower linkage setup. I need to know which link goes where. I have looked everywhere online and i cant find a video.
Dang bro! I can’t believe you still have that truck!! I used to bash the snot out of it!!! You got that thing fast!! I kinda miss the hobby sometimes!! Too bad we don’t have any courses around here anymore….Dusty!
I ditched the 3spd and swapped in an old single speed Venom Creeper trans. I just use the truck as a trail runner/mild crawler due to the "Twizzler" axle shafts.😁
Just bought the same kit from amazon and installed it on my white toyato, and it was a fun install, and looks great! Thanks for the vid. I do wish the light kit had a few more 3mm orange and a 3mm white to help fill the remaining 3mm toyato holes. I have white/blue up front. Orsnge front sides, and red in back. Thanks again!
