We need a megacity biome for defense missions against invasions from aliens and assault missions against a dissident faction. Dissident missions could be on *every* planet rather than a force like the three main factions. Dissidents are usually just normal people and freedom fighters in lore lol so any settlement could become a target for the ministry of truth. So they could be like a bonus mission in a normal three mission operation yielding extra rewards. As if Super Earth found the time to stop thought crime amidst an alien invasion. Imagine a stealth mission to destroy a dissident outpost in the city. A destruction focused mission focused on taking out a "Dissident Camp" with a nuke in the middle of the city (Super Earth would go there, but it would be ok as miraculously only dissidents were caught in the blast), Invasions into underground dissident bunkers if we ever get enclosed spaces missions would be dope. If Terminids are medium, Automatons are hard, and Illuminate are very hard, it would be funny for Dissidents to be easy
Yeah man I think that would be cool as hell. Like the idea of a dissident faction and it makes a lot of sense for the lore. I was talking to somebody on reddit and we were discussing various potential mission types and biomes. Once we fight on Cyberstan, I'm really really hoping its a badass urban/megacity biome. That would be super cool. Love the idea of defense missions of Super Earth colonies that look like cities/outposts or what not. That would make sense. We were also talking about if we have to deal with Automaton Super Destroyers, would be really cool to have a mission type where our super destroyer pulls up above the automaton super destroyer and we get deployed directly into the hull of their ships, and we have to fight our way to the bridge and blow it up or whatever. We also mentioned underground missions like for bugs and stuff. I'm really hoping they add enclosed space missions where maybe we cant use our stratagems for them or maybe only certain ones would be available such as support weapons. Really hoping this happens I think everyone would love it. Let's hope! 🤞
It was pointed out that in the poster for the Escalation of Freedom there was a depiction of bot destroyer ships and speculation that we may be making an assault on them in some way.
@@AnthonyJohnson-nf4ue ok I did actually see someone talking about this somewhere on Reddit. Didn’t read too much into it as it seemed highly speculative. But that would be so damn cool. I do wonder if we’ll ever get “enclosed spaces” type of missions, like going indoors, or underground, where we can’t call stratagems while inside. Seems like it’d be too different for them to actually do something like that. But I would absolutely love it. I’d go nuts if there was a mission type where our super destroyer pulls up above a bot destroyer and we get dropped directly into their ship. 🤩
@@GalacticFrontlineNews I agree I would love ship to ship combat but I don't really see it happening. If there's anything to do with bot destroyers I imagine it'd be some kind of mission where we bring some sort of ground to space artillery back online or hack the bots laser cannons that keep destroying our super destroyers in orbit. But I've heard nothing official about the bot destroyers just the same speculations you've read.
@@AnthonyJohnson-nf4ue yup agreed. Maybe a re-skinned “destroy air capabilities” mission 😭 that’d be disappointing. We’ll see what happens I guess. Either way I’m pumped for this next update.
@@GalacticFrontlineNews yeah, I assume we'd have to call down an SSSD and hack into maybe two or three terminals while bot forces are incoming. Maybe it'll be inside one of the giant fortresses?
I believe we need to stay focused on the major order. Reports from high command specified that if they connect their forces will lose our advantage. So I believe we need to keep pressing westward and allow them to take the Pass if necessary.
@@AnthonyJohnson-nf4ue yep totally agree! I was thinking if we lose Aesir Pass the line might be broken, but we still have the Nanos Sector to the south of Aesir Pass. The automaton forces are still split even if we lose Aesir Pass. So yeah, let’s stick to the major order!

I went with the streamlined launch process. Tbh i am also about the Destroyer aesthetics so i also go for the ones that give cosmetic upgrades to my ship. I want my destroyer to feel alive. For Democratic purposes ofcourse!
@@RyubenPrime yeah I really like when the ship changes. I just got the 5% faster reload and that made the ship management computers have a much deeper room. Thought that was cool.
@@GalacticFrontlineNews yeah same here, and I could see the cadets getting excited when they came on board my destroyer. Wish they were a little customizable, like adding trophies of Automatons and Terminids on the wall. Maybe change the main suit that shows in the armory.
@@RyubenPrime YES! Completely agree! Trophies, the suit, and a few other things customizable would be pretty fun. Maybe in like 2 years, probably pretty low on their list of things.

Hey I’ve had a few randoms actually assist me! I’ve asked too if they’d humor me but get ignored sometimes. All good. Check out the linked video you’ll see it working with 2 randoms I came across. But if we could get a squad of 4 all working together, would be really fun!

My squad, we intentionally get into bad situations to not deny anyone's heroics. How do you expect people to find the hero in themselves if you don't force it out of them?
@@GalacticFrontlineNews we really need to get tanks and the new truck with a 50cal in back. Customization of armor and weapons would be greatly appreciated as well
@@nickfranklin717 yeah man tanks/trucks would be so badass. Just recently saw a vid with that truck and 50cal, wasn’t sure if that was a mod or what? I’m torn on the customization. Typically I’m all for it but I think there would need to be some limits to not take away from the immersion. Hot pink helldivers dropping in and stuff. Nothing against hot pink, I like hot pink okay? Just don’t feel it’s very democratic. 😂
I don't see the point of these new weapons. The Dev is going to nerf all of them anyway. You're better off not getting those weapons and getting your hopes up just to be disappointment later on.
@@ohmygosh6176 it’s possible the commando could be nerfed but I believe they’re trying to be better about nerfs and putting out explanations as to why weapons are changing (there was that recent blog post that walked through a lot of the changes and reasonings behind it). But for now, it’s pretty fun, just enjoy it while it lasts and who knows, maybe it’ll remain unchanged! Fingers crossed, Helldiver.
@@probablypragmatic6893 not sure which OhMyGosh is referencing, probably just a general comment. I haven’t had any issues with any recent changes, maybe because they didn’t affect me too much. I was sad about the slugger stun removal a long while ago, but that just made me switch to the dominator.
I dont see the point of you complaining, like just uninstall the game if you have such a sour opinion over it and the devs. No one is holding a gun to your head and making you play this game.
I gotta admit, THAT was a good shot. Downing two Factory Striders and saving another HellDivers life just when all hope seemed lost? GOOD hit, Quadracorn!
@@PonderaTheRadioAngel I really thought I was a goner. I managed to run back up to the spot I was cornered at and climb back up to the platform and survive the rest of the mission. Was a good save for sure.
