While it's great that Roy had passed his second terastal test however I am very disappointed that his Fuecoco still haven't evolved into Crocalor because I was expecting it to evolved during the battle against Ryme just like Dot's Quaxwell did during her battle against Larry.

You also forgot one of the worst moments as far as league losses go. The Kalos League loss to Alain Ash had every right to win the league, he hadn't defeated Alain before, and what's worse, the league was hyped up to make it seem like Ash was actually going to win, yet he STILL lost. The backlash for this was so massive that the anime staff themselves were targeted. And I'll even go as far to say that they deserved it They couldn't even redeem this mistake in journeys by at least having ash face Alain and defeat him. It didn't even have to be in the masters eight, just let Ash and Greninja get their long overdue redemption

Based on the preview where we already see both trainers' 2 pokemon already being used for the implementation test battle and considering the battle is a 2 parter where the 2nd half is about Fuecoco & Roy, it's weird but I get the feeling that part 1 Ryme ends up taking down Kilowattrel & the second part might be Fuecoco having to battle Houndstone & Toxtricity where that might enough stimulating experience to have him evolve in-battle to become Crocalor

So Roy & Dot could possibly have Elite 4 Pokemon once/if they fully evolve. That’s cool. I’m all for it! It’s ok if they have strong Pokemon. I mean Goh, Gary & Ashh all had legendary and/or mythical Pokemon lol. Not to compare, but I’d like to see more legendary Pokemon. Obviously, Liko still has to capture Entei and only time will tell as to what/how they’ll do with the next few captures. Pretty excited. I wish we see Paldean legendaries too though!! We missed out on the Galarian trio (Moltres, Articuno & Zapdos), so I’m glad we at least got to see Moltres, but there were SO many legendary pokemon we’ve gotten deprived of since Alola TBH. Even Alola was packed with deities. Thus, we’ll just have to wait and see huh!! Hah
