I am translating Vtuber videos uploaded to RU-vid. Japanese and English. I love hololive and nijisanji.
------------------------- The song that will be played on the outro was made by me and the name of the song has not been decided yet. I made it for the outro and it's only about a minute long.
I dunno those shows but hey, if she likes them, then good for her. But I won't laugh at someone just because they have weird tastes. Unless Nenechi's meme-ing here.
Things can have more meaning in learned languages bc you *have* to think about everything said and what it means and why they say it that way instead of another. It can lead to finding hidden meaning or meaning not meant bc you’re seeing a default state as something chosen. It’s a neat lil part of language
Me: I bet she watches icarly and thinks it's super adult Nene: So yeah icarly is one of my favorites Me: I FUCKING KNEW IT I was waiting for her to say the suite life of zach and cody next...
>Vegeta getting all the attention Gokubros...? >blushing The tsundere fancy. How did Kondo call it so early? >sameface Vegeta has the same as Trunks. Makes sense. Goku and Tien? Not so much. >M-shaped Like Majin? Jests aside, none have a stronger widow's peak than he who got the main girl (essentially the princess of Earth). He whom became the nemesis (undefeated against Goku). He who is father to the child that saved multiple timelines. >still not enough Study (read: train) hard. Become strong (read: knowledgeable). You too can REMIND them (the canon score is 4-0 with Vegeta always beating up his vassal **the prince is 6-0 with Super**). >Final Atonement did it Understandable. I fancied him from the start (beating the mess out of the others, his antics on Namek, etc.). He came back a different character after death (and slowly redeemed **didn't rush it like Piccolo speedrunning his attempt at being bad before becoming a hero**).
It's interesting to me that shows marketed towards young teen girls would be some of her favorites. I've definitely watched a few shoujo anime that are aimed at maybe a similar demographic and now I'm wondering how those are seen in Japan.
Wow that fucking sucks. Me and my mates over 30 still talk about SpongeBob, and all kinds of stuff we used to watch as kids as the best shit. I hope she didn't take it to heart.
randomly remember this clip today and thinking about what would happen if nene didn't watch icarly. she wouldn't have known about streaming or maybe even a vtuber. though these days streaming has become more mainstream so she would know about it eventually but we might not have known about her till much later yknow? thanks icarly !
when she said that kiara laughed at the movies nene said she liked i thought she watched something twilight or mean girls, not icarly and victorious lmao
That is so cursed. A Japanese vtuber talking about her favorite shows being iCarly and Hannah Montana is so surreal, so completely incomprehensible. I cannot think of anything as cursed as that.
