Too much waffle and at the end of the day is the same nonsense propaganda people always come out with. O the Muslim empires are so advanced and brought us all this stuff. And they ignore the genocidal religion based imperialism and colonialism and slave trading of the Arabs. Fortunately, it's basically proven that though Muhammad is probably based on one or two historical figures, the Muslim prophet warlord that a billion people are still deceived into living for, never really existed, but much of the other evil is worse than we are told. And this butchery of Jews and Christians and pagans had gone on for centuries, before Christians in Europe thought to do anything to help their brothers and sisters in the east, who were suffering genocide after genocide. Basically everything that is now Islamic was some kind of Christians and the Arabs tore through country after country forcing people to convert or killing or enslaving them. That's the real reason for the crusades. And people talk about everything that went wrong in the crusades but the crusades are the reason we have freedom and democracy and equality in the west, and Islam is the reason why the middle east is still likely to destroy the world,or at least the world as we have been privileged to know it. The crusades failed to get back even Jerusalem and left most of the middle east under tyranny and inhumanity but it was the start of the recognition that unless Christians in Europe acted together to defend themselves, they were going to be treated like Africa. The Muslim Arab Slave Trade began as soon as the Arabs entered Africa in CE 700. From then on it is the story of one genocide after another, mainly to force people to convert to Islam from what you see of any sense in it. I mean yes, many got rich from the misery and torture and murder, and the slaves were forced to work if they survived, but the sheer numbers that didn't survive and the treatment of the slaves was designed to depopulate and spread terror of the Muslim monsters. They actually killed more slaves in transportation and torture like abuse of women and castrations of men and then often forced marches through desert conditions with little or no food and water. In the end the Muslim Arab Slave Trade took about 14 million black African slaves from Africa. And the only way you could be reasonably sure not to be captured and tortured and enslaved was to become a Muslim yourself, and often then become an agent of the slave trade yourself. So apart from hearing about the butchery of the Arabs through Christian and Jewish communities and whole countries, was when the Muslim slavers also took to the seas in the form of the Muslim Barbary Pirate Slave Trade that not only enslaved people from captured ships but would raid ports and carry off the whole population mostly around the Mediterranean but on occasions as far as Ireland and even as far north as Holland or further north. One reason for this was because a blonde sex slave was seen as special to the richest slave buyers. Today we are never taught about this in any detail and certainly not taught that it was the Barbary Pirate Slave Trade and the Muslim Arab Slave Trade that really caused the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Today, we see this in video on RU-vid about "Why so many Guineas?" After being victims for so long of the Barbary Pirate Slave Trade and seeing how rich the Arab was because of it, the Europeans were enticed into the same barbarism. And it was the Muslim slavers that showed the Europeans where to go and buy the slaves. The word guinea was a Muslim Berber word for the black Africans that lived to the south of them, so when the Europeans were taken to the west coast slave markets, they adopted the word guinea and used it when places became countries like Guinea, Guinea Bissau and Equatorial Guinea. So though history books and films basically tell us lies about the terrible Europeans going and capturing and enslaving poor Africans, the truth is that they were buying people who were already under even worse slavery before. The slaves were not captured by Europeans but the Arabs or the African peoples who were selling other African people to the Arabs. It has been said that it was more common for a white man to catch and die of malaria 🦟 in Africa than ever catch a slave himself. So yes the Transatlantic Slave Trade was a horrible blight on humanity, but it was still better than the alternative. And then there is the second genocide. Not only did the Arab Slave Trade just destroy many more Africans than they sold, but the descendants of the African slaves in Arab lands are conspicuous by their absence. Whereas we can see the descendants of the Transatlantic Slave Trade extension of the Arab Slave Trade, there are few places where the descendants of the Africans the Arabs took for themselves, have been allowed to survive. Either they suffered post natal abortion or some kind of still birth was provoked or the men that survived were made into soldiers and sent first into battle. So that's what people had already heard of through Spain and was coming to the rest of Europe. And without the crusades we would never have had groups like the knights Templar that stopped the invasion through Malta, we would never have had armies ready to stop the invasions through Vienna twice, and through Sicily and to eventually take back Spain from the Arab imperialist coloniser settler etc. And why 9/11? Because the Arab ideology has had different empires within in it the whole teaching is that it is itself an empire that is meant to establish the supremacy of the Arab over every other people on earth. So on or about the eleventh of September the Europeans managed to defend Europe from Arab tyranny in the two sieges of Vienna, the siege of Malta, the battle of zentra, and it was around that date that the Spanish finally announced that the last of the Arabs in Spain had to leave. So the Muslim Arab mind has not forgotten these defeats and still sees Europe as unfinished business.

The Robert you mention a few times is William the Conqueror’s eldest son. You probably already know that but it’s funny that he’s not a more important figure in all of this story. He was probably expected to be the next king of England at the time. He maybe would’ve been king if he got on with his dad better.

It gets a couple of mentions in this but Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell is a very good book all about the Spanish civil war. He goes into how divided they actually were with all the different factions fighting side by side. It's definitely worth reading for anyone interested.
