Yours looks like the radar cruise version with the more 3d type front emblem and the fact you didn't take it apart. I think this came up really nice will definitely buy thankyou hope it's still being sold I'm a bit late 😂
depending if its a before facelift you connect the standard cables out of the box, if its facelift you get the adapter cables from the box. the yellow one is if you want sequential turn signals. you connect them from the outside to the inside cable per side. need anything more?

@@philip880 I have the 7 GTE & i have put in the 7.5 rearlights but its not with the wiring. I have heard you have to cut the yellow wires, so i did 🤣 It did not help anything tho
I'm considering the VLANDS for my mk7.5 US GTI as well, I have seen several videos that detail the coding for US MK7.5's and I have VCDS, so I'm not really concerned with that step. I'm just wondering if the quality of the VLANDS is good enough and if they are water proof and bright enough. What is your experience with that?
They are pretty good, haven’t had issues with them. After I used the obd11 to erase the error code thing the little light that would come up stopped coming up and it works fine. But for dynamic lights you need some harness, haven’t gotten that yet.
Honestly man I think under the same specs I think you'd have him and be faster on the straightaway as you pulled on him top end when you both went at the same time. But he might have you on the low end rolls. Now from a dig you'd destroy him off the line provided he was RWD..
