10-minute wash is fine for my lingerie, lounge wear, tank tops, T-Shirts, shorts, sox's, etc. I do not mix types of clothes. I will go up to a 15 min wash if I am running around in the heat or if there is a stain or towels. I am not a construction worker. I have a 0.9 machine. I would like to know who invented the Portable Washing Machine. I love that person. Magic Chef; I hope you continue applying attention to detail in your build quality. Thank you.
Is your magic chef washer still working after all these years? I got the magic chef 1.6 cu. ft. washer together with the magic chef 3.5 cu. ft. dryer and I am wondering how long they will last. As for apartment living, they are definitely must haves. Oh yeah, mind are a little over a year old.
It's probably either your settings are set wrong or you are not connected correctly. Reread the instructions carefully and figure out what you are doing wrong.
@Bullfrog it was working for a few years it was actually my mom's but I just baught her a full size washer and dryer a part broke that held a connection and wasn't worth trying to fix as I know how to fix a full size
I just got the 2.0 cu ft model by magic chef and noticed that it ticks when its in spin mode. Does anyone else have this problem? It's a pretty loud tick, almost like a chirp
I recommend you to buy the dolly. I beleive is like $25.00. It would be so much easier for you to move it and the wheels have breaks so you can place it wherever you like and the washer will be very stable.
Hello do you still own the machine? I just got a new one and it knocks even when it's empty in spinning cycle. It stopped for week now it started again even in empty cycle. What can it be?
I personally (as a single woman living by myself) would use the 10-minute cycle when I wanted to just wash one favorite item (shirt, blouse or pair of pants) to wear that day..

I believe it’s important to make mention that powder is recommended for these machines over liquid washing detergent. When I went to open my filter in the back a big clear thick liquid came pouring out onto the floor. It looks like liquid laundry detergent that did not dissolve. The dispensing tray won’t hold the liquid detergent it just falls straight through into the machine before you can turn the water on through the inlet. I think it must drain out before being mixed. Also even with the machine unplugged and completely off that drain had pressure in it. It was making some pressure sounds which was a little unsettling.

Need Help. I am getting an E2 error. Booklet says it is OPEN LID ALERT. I have opened and close lid, unplugged machine hoping to reset, went through reprogram , nothing worked. Any ideas?
Hello....I've been thinking about getting one of these washing machines for my mom and me. Do you think it would be big enough for us? Also if your wanting to do a warm temperature wash....do you turn both the hot and cold water on.....and does the machine adjust the temperature of the water as it flows in? OmG. I have the new version of this machine 2.0 and I hate it only fills half way to do a full load. Yours fills all the way up which is what I expected of mine. Why would I want the space of a 2.0 and pay the extra bucks if I can't use it?! I think I will return mine.

@@lyricgraysonsnikkie3122 thats good im inquiring because i just bought a rca in November and im having issues with it im still under warranty but its bull crap to have problems that soon maybe u should contact magic chef and see if they can help u trouble shoot the spinning issue it could be a belt the or drain pump etc
I just purchased 2.0 Not much info on how to install cover for bottom of machine.. Lay machine down on which side? No help with placing dolly i bought for machine. I am 70 yrs old with a compound fractured ankle... You tell me how to do these steps and i will do them alone Thank you.

I had a hiaer....lasted about 2 .5 yr...glad I got the extend plan...was a big hassle useextend warranty..after 2 months I finally got a walmart credit in amount.

Where can I buy it because I need one of this.. we are 4 n husband job it's construction n repair stuff n he dont have alot work pants n he need work wash every week n our kids cloth clean too.. only use for cloth but no bed cover , bigger items need to wash on to bigger machine...
I have this wonderful machine, 1.6. It is excellent it holds alot of clothes. I also have the small dryer.. It works excellent. However, I would recommend the bigger dryer. Love this product. I have it for 3 years and not one problem at all.
Thank you for your video! I just received the 1.6 cf MC portable washer. I used it twice and was worried that the draining and spinning was abnormally loud. After watching your video, it seems like it sounds like yours. I guess that’s the normal sound of these machines. Hopefully a telescopic furniture dolly and a rubber floor mat will help diffuse the sound so my downstairs neighbor doesn’t complain. Thanks again for your posting!
Mine has a dent from Home Depot. Could have been putting it in the back seat of the car or getting it out. Anyway it still works great except on a large load it won’t fill up all the way. It’s still a great little washer.
