@@5598469 yes, it makes the usual noise as if there were not problem but when we you look down the brush is not spinning when started. It just rolls a bit when pushed. What do you suggest in this case, to book a service- maintenance?
Hi, the pump is run by electric power, the water is heated by the diesel. It's possible to run it cold without diesel, but you can't run it without plugging it into a power supply.
Hi i have the B 40 just wondering if the machine should be plugged in even after the battery is charged or should it be unpluged as soon as the batteries are charged, i have gel batteries, the machine is used everyday at a Car Dealership for an hour a day or less
Hi, Once the machine is fully charged, the charger will automaticaly either switch off or switch to trickle charge mode so there is no need to unplug it.
Hi Sarah, have you had the HDS 7/10-4M or was it similar models? The reason I ask is that the '-4M' at the end means its a 4 pole motor. We were having reliability issues on our hire fleet with the 2 pole motor machines. They're only designed for short use such as car washing. The 4 pole motors run much slower and so will happily run all day long. We've not had any problems with those ones on our hire fleet.
It could be the motor spec as you say, buzxing and not stsrting sometimes, then the detergent selector works sometimes then not, sometimes runs on for no reason ( no leaks) we sent one in for refurbishing and it came back tge same . Hey ho
Good day and thank you for the reply. It is the 51 cm model. We have solved the situation with a Karcher Dealer from Statford Ontario.@@CleaningequipmentservicesCoUk
Thank you SO much for this video! I own a boarding kennel and the tile aisles in our buildings have gotten so gross over the past few years. I rented one of these and almost broke my arm and put my back out trying to fight it to go where I wanted. Then I watch your video and felt like an idiot lol. Thank God I found this! I was doing the equivalent of renting a dolly, strapping a fridge to it and then holding it over my head lol. Instead of wrestling the machine to where I wanted it (im a big dude at 5'11 at 280 pounds), the machine does all the work. I feel foolish, but at least I learned the right way now! Went out and tried it right after watching the video and it's a breeze now! Thanks!
That was an excellent tutorial. I just picked up a Numatic floor cleaner at an auction and want to use it to clean up a very dirty quarry tile floor. It has some concrete residue left on the surface. I checked the pad of the machine and it has very stiff plastic bristles. What liquid should I be using on the floor while using the machine?
Hi, thank you for your compliment! There are 5 different types of machine: - Slow speed (up to 200rpm) - For heavy scrubbing - Medium speed (200 - 300rpm) - For light scrubbing/buffing - High speed (300 -800rpm) - For buffing/polishing - Dual/Multispeed (Switcheable) - For scrubbing and buffing - Ultra high speed (800+rpm) - For high gloss light polishing So you need to check the speed of your machine to see if it will do what you need. If you try to polish with a slow machine it won't polish well and if you try to scrub with a high speed machine it will probably keep tripping and eventually burn out. If you are using a brush you will need a slow or medium speed machine. A Janitorial Supplier should be able to advise you on the best chemical for quarry tiles. Some chemicals you can spray on and buff off. Some chemicals require you to put more liquid on the floor which you will need to mop or suck off after with a wet vacuum.
Hellos! Been a janitor for 20 years your video is great but I would like to add one thing. I have learned that if you try to teach people in the middle of the floor it will sometimes more than not take off scaring the new user. I know because it happened to me and I would not touch the machine for that whole summer as we scrubbed floors to wax.I learned when teaching someone, to place machine in a corner so when the machine wants to take off there is no where to go. And they don't get scared. They learn to back it out of the corner with out being afraid.
I've seen one put a whole in the wall going through it. Was told to try in the center, tried once and so nervous to try again. This video explains it so much better than the person who tried training me lol
I have this unit and the autotrigger on is inconsistent. For instance most of the time it comes on with just the wand sprayer but not the rotating floor cleaner. Usually have to be holding the trigger when turning on the unit to get it to come on. If you stop then it will go to standby with a blinking light and you have to turn it off then back on again while holding the trigger. Any ideas?
Hello, currently using this model but no water coming out of the machine. I have the settings on correctly and the water tank is filled 100% Any trouble shooting suggestion please.
Hi Michael, if you unscrew the large grey cap on the back left side of the machine (the clean water will come out), there is a filter behind it. Give that a clean
@@CleaningequipmentservicesCoUk thank you for quick reply, just had this machine from karcher as a replacement for cleaning a food store. Will try that on my next shift. 😃
I started the machine to test and practice before my job. Kept hitting the left wall. Just watch 2.30min of this video now I can write my name with the machine without hitting anything. Your video is amazingly simple yet super informative.❤❤❤
@@CleaningequipmentservicesCoUk I was struggling to hold it in place. Amazing. You taught me something that would have taken me weeks to learn by myself. Thanks again.
Hi Jonathan, it will either be too much chemical (use less), a chemical which congeals too easily (try a different chemical), or chemical that has sat in the tank for too long (flush the tank out at least once a week). Hope this helps!
Hi, there's a filter behind the big grey cap on the left side of the machine. Give that a clean out, that should do it. P.s. removing the grey cap will let the water out so maybe remove it outside or over a drain.
MAy or may not have lied on an application and said I knew how to use one of these. It was the only thing i didnt have experience with. Hopefully this will make it easier on my first day!
I just did the same thing in my interview just now! I'm a little stressed because I start next week...did you end up learning this without much difficulty? Any tips? I hope you are doing great at your job 🙂
@@a-yojones6632 i did too bro haha said i been a janitor a year and have 0 experience. i got my orientation tomorrow so im binging studying all i can about janitor work.
Kindly assist, My machine ain't showing power on the display despite connected to power. Once you press the contactor the machines motor runs. What could be the problem?
@@CleaningequipmentservicesCoUk I've worked in custodial technician for 9 years now, is it weird I never trained on the stripping machine? The times they did do it, I did other things like wash carpets.
Can I ask, we at work buff, and spray a pink chemical on the floor, to make it shine, I've just been told, I think wrongly, that after u rinse floor with water, to me that's not correct because then surely it will go duller again can u help?
