Thanks for sharing. Crystal Lake is beautiful after a winter storm ❄️ However, must be prepared with proper gear snowshoes, hiking waterproof boots, microspikes, hiking pole with snow baskets. Check for road and trail conditions before heading out .
@@MoodyCaffeineAddict I started the hike at 7am and got to my car around 1:47pm but it was 5 miles up and 5 miles down if you do the the hike from Crystal lake parking area
On a hot day like today I would go for a swim at that waterfall and maybe not hike too much. Great that you normally can see the pacific ocean from there. Or maybe it's behind some more mountains! 😊 Great hike for sure! 😊

Wow! That is such a high peak there! To be able to see the ocean and the city is so small I could hardly see it. I will have to add this hike to my list some day. And glad you were able to still get some footage from your drone.
It looks like a easy beginner hike, I'm doing this hike next weekend. I completed the Mt. Wilson and the Bailey Canyon trails in the past. After doing the hard hikes, i feel like I can conquer any trailhead.
You are getting good with the aerial footage from the drone. I love that the trail has some ruggedness to it without being overly exhausting. Amazing views along the way. Well done on the trek. That's a heck of a hike.
