A little over 2 years ago I weighed 500 pounds. This channel is to discuss where I'm at with my weight loss and also to hold myself accountable and to maybe help others.
I’m right here lol I didn’t expect a shout out. I was tboned in December and am working through a mTBI. I do physical, cognitive, and speech therapy three times a week. Working hard to get back to life. I’ll be back eventually!
HI! Glad you are okay. You look so young, like your son's brother than Father. I hear it's harder for some people to deal with the "heaviness" of meat in the stomach. I hope you get your taste back ☺️
You look amazing!!! I’m so happy for you. I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life, so I know it’s a constant battle, but you’re definitely winning! Much luck with upcoming surgery.
I'm so glad to hear about your progress! 🎉 My first thought when I saw you in this video was how much younger you look! I know what you mean though. I've finally been losing weight and when I focus on my wrinkles I feel like I look older too. I look forward to your next update!
You look amazing! My daughter has lost 130lbs. It’s crazy cause I was thinking about you yesterday. My daughter has had some of the same feelings. Great work Justin!!!😊
So proud of you - good job on the water! Living in Alaska I get dry skin too. I’ve been recommended to take an omega-3 supplement to help. I don’t follow the advice but I thought I’d pass it along to you 😂
Thanks for the update, it sounds like things are going well. I'm impressed with how much you were able to decrease your medications. Wishing you continued success and better health.
Congratulations! Welcome to the WLS “family!” You are right, nothing will ever be the same again! It’s a wild ride! I had gastric bypass in 2003, and a revision to shorten my common channel in 2009 due to regain! Wishing you every success! I’ve been with you since the Halo Top days!
Thank you for the update. How are the doggies? Hope everyone is doing great. This isnt easy as you have to do it or will physically hurt yourself, ER time. Have a wonderful weekend 🎉
BTW... you can really see the weight loss in your face! I really couldn't tell in your cup size since you don't have the best camera angle for that! 😉🤣 Hang in there. You are headed in the right direction! 🎉
Hi Justin!!! Glad to see you’re doing so well!! And I’m cracking up because I’ve never met anyone else that has Gilbert’s!!! I was diagnosed years ago (I think they call it ‘Jill-bear’). Lol small world!! Keep up the great work!!
I’m so glad to hear an update. My daughter has lost well over 110 lbs since her gastric sleeve. Her health has improved. I’m so happy for you Justin. Hang in there! 😊
Wishing you the best of luck! Please, please do follow the rules. If you don’t you will surely suffer for it. I myself had the same procedure 13 yrs ago. A couple of months out I thought I would be ok eating some spicy ribs. After I finished one I knew it was a mistake and the next 30 minutes thought I was going to die. It does work to lose a lot in a short time but you do need to be careful😊
Hi Justin. I wondered what and where you went. 40 is great. Happy belated birthday 🎉. The water weight sucks. Hang in there. I’m glad you got your new cpap. I’m struggling with my bi pap and freaking allergies. You got this. Your oldest is a firefighter is so amazing. The next going to college. Time flies ❤. Screw the negative comments. Your story is YOURS. Take care, Have a great week. I’m going to the Oregon coast for my first vacation in years.
I’m sorry things aren’t going so great right now. I’ve had some setbacks this week, too, and I just have to keep reminding myself to keep going and that with consistent behavior, eventually the good results will show. Hope you have a better week this week.
Welcome back! You are doing great. Showing up is half the battle & you showed up 👍🏻. I haven’t lost weight since last year, it can be discouraging not to see the scale move, but don’t give up. 🙌🏻♥️. I think you’re doing a great job. 🎉
I’m the same way when traveling. Staying in places with full kitchens actually helped me break my habits when traveling. Now I buy the exact same foods I’m used to eating & do most of my meals at the hotel. I do plan for a couple of meals out but it’s not a “free for all” like it used to be. The same does not go for cruises 😂 I eat all the things 😅. Road trips are hard!! Boring & long. I now tend to listen to digital books, chew gum & drink flavored water. It helps me not feel so swollen. Sometimes my mouth gets raw from all the chemicals in the gum though 🥴. Praying for you. It’s hard to change habits, but not impossible. You are doing it 🙌🏻
Great job with your weight loss. I know firsthand it’s hard. What kinda water bottle is that? What does it do? Have a great week! I’m looking forward to your next update video!!
