Good video! Thankfully, I have not had my Winnegbago Filon blow-off yet. I have kept the radius tuck sealed, but I have many areas where the glue failed and left bubbles. There are some things I can do, like adding solar panels to help hold the sheet of Filon down, but I would still have the bubbles in other areas, and I can't make the entire roof a solar panel. I purchased my Winnebago J35 new in 2007 and took good care of it and it still looks great, except for the roof. I am in the process of trying to find a shop to have the Filon replaced. Really sucks.
You would have been better off if you had purchased the Yamaha touring windscreen instead of that ugly monstrosity you put on there. And you would have better off if you had purchased the Yamaha 50L Top Case instead of that other monstrosity sitting up there like an ugly wart. With these two items you've completely ruined the look of a fine machine. Sell this, go back and get another Super Tenere and quit whining already.
I hear ya. Immersing yourself for days in the inslaught of dull eyes, empty faces, and remedial reading skills that invade Sturgis yearly, must be f_____g exhausting.
Have to say this fixed my problem and took out the play , took maybe 15 20 min to do and other then the usual very tight spot and getting the right wench to loosen the lock nut 1/8 turn fixed it and improved my driving experience a great deal as I tested across the country my last trip. Hit some wind gust up to 65 mile and 45mile in Wyoming between the steering fix and front and rear sway up grades handled and came through with only a few grey hair . 65 mile gust will do that😂
You need to camp downtown and one of the many private locations. Many have More shade, outdoor kitchen setups, bbq grill, table chairs, frig, power and free showers… $30 a person.
I have been riding for 40+ years now. Out of that 40 years I have owned 17 Harley Davidson motorcycles. I found that HARLEY-DAVIDSON wants the customer to be loyal to them, but HARLEY-DAVIDSON refuses to be loyal to the customer. Harley’s new woke agenda and policies lost them an otherwise lifelong customer. Last month I sold my last two HARLEY-DAVIDSON’s then I bought an Indian roadmaster and couldn’t be happier. No more Harleys in my stable.
Safe travels Brother....scary story about truck tire blowout...go quickly by big trucks because of this...people have been killed...thanks much for your service....
How many times do you close the garage door to find out in the morning that you’re Indian has a blackeye and has been beat up by the other two 😂 Harleys
Interesting video. I'm 73 but if I was 30 I'd buy one or the other. As it is I'm working on an 84 yamaha venture royale I bought for 150.00 lol. Have fun at sturgis. In 2020 i rode my 95 goldwing through there in June when motels were cheaper.
I own a Road King, a Heritage and just sold my Indian Road Master. Which was the best bike? The Road Master was the far better bike for long distances. Superior suspension, superior power and greater luggage space than my old Ultra. If it was so good, why did I sell the Road Master, especially when I said to myself I'd never sell it because it was so good? I had to be honest with myself in the fact that I'm not riding long distance enough anymore to justify it sitting in the garage. It's just easier to swing my leg over the Heritage for around town riding and for medium distance, the Road King does fine. Harleys are dirt cheap right now and resale sucks. Indian is much better and another reason it made more sense to sell while the getting was good. I WILL own another Indian but this time around, I'll probably get the Vintage or Springfield - I just love the looks of those classic fenders with the classic chrome headlight. Come to think of it, that's probably yet another reason I kept the Heritage and the Road King - that classic chrome headlight is just so iconic.
Whaaa! Trade it back in or sell it then. I love my Tracer 9gt. My two previous bikes were a Super Tenere and an Africa Twin, so there's that. So subjective and anectdotal. Why even make a video about it?
Have the Tracer 9 base model. I think that you are gonna get used to it. Just give it a bit more time. You can check my Tracer 9 playlist, just drop by. Nice video bro.
