These running days tend to focus on only one or two routes, and in this case was in connection with an open day at Bromley Garage, hence it made sense to operate over the services passing there.
@@astock5000 i see, BTV is a good one had in on the 7/9/10 many times nice little bus getting quite tired tho, as for SK52MPU was the first redline i went on back in 2021 and MX09HHL is pretty surprising for what it is, and i’m not a fan of Enviro200’s but it kicks down and revs high so it’s my favourite of the red group ones.
@@astock5000 apart from this & a couple E’s that worked the N15 GAL generally haven’t been violating ULEZ rules recently, unlike say Stagecoach who I think put out an LX11 on the 26 at one point in the last month.
Thanks! Surprised that one was still about, as the contract had long since expired and the other four buses which had that wrap returned to red (or gone on to carry others).
Yeah I went up to London yesterday and it's still there also LJ59LYY by bear bus still has a poster for migration (in cinemas feb 2) the contract for that has also expired
LT501....Poor thing! Still in its Pajamas. Busy ol" place is Trafalgar Square but there's nothing quite as relaxing as seeing everyone else rushing around when you can sit and watch. Probably why Nelson likes to keep an eye on things.
Can’t believe how much harrow transportation has changed in less than 10 years like now almost all the buses in harrow were hybrid/electric but here all the buses were diesel powered
The whole line was once 3rd rail (in fact 4th rail before 1970), but after the 313s took over the service various sections were gradually converted to overhead to allow freight to be hauled by electric locos. This part of the line between Camden Road and Dalston Kingsland remained 3rd rail until the rebuild for the ELL's extension to Highbury, since freight trains used separate tracks running alongside.
RIP Sullivan buses, it’s really unfortunate what ended up happening in the last couple hours with Sullivan terminating their TfL routes with extremely short notice.
There I was thanking to myself "I stiil can't get used to seeing the wires above the Great Western" when at 11:02 along comes that announcement that the train would be going to Paddington but not terminating there. That seems even weirder!
