I have made this and looks awesome, only thing is when taken of the board some of the stitches come lose. Any suggestions to stop that happening please
For some reason I ran out of cord. I was very careful to measure correctly. I couldn't do the last circle design and had no where near enough to tie the tassels. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time other people commented that the measurements given were incorrect. I'm wondering if this time the cord I used was thicker than yours. I think from now on I will add about 10cm on to what the video says to allow for cord and dowe/ wood thickness
Thank you for sharing such beautiful and easy-to-learn tutorial. What's the inner diameter for this? If I increase the size how many sets of 2 cords do I increase each time?
It's a good pattern but it's just not clear at all. I don't know how many knots I'm doing or anything! And the measurements are wrong too. Overall I don't recommend it.
Followed it and ended up not long enough on certain strings. Not sure how it happened. I made sure the middle was the middle. Tightened and placed every knot where it was supposed to go. Ended up with unfinished product and wasted rope 😞 was supposed to be a gift for my aunt who's daughter passed away
I do wish there was more explaining here. At one point I regreted chosing your design because you stopped labeling the knots but it was too late. I used up my material. It was frustrating to try and figure it out for a beginner.
Thank you for the tutorial. I love your owl. I struggled with the motions of your hands and the shadows. I wasn’t able to see what direction the cord was being tied. I even watched in slow motion over and over but your hands were moving too fast and in the way. I finally gave up after 4 hours and a half done owl.
Thank you! I'm making one from 10 crochet cotton to go with the pot and leaves I did in 30 cotton. It's taking so long lol. I had to do 18 rows to fit my little pot. I'm at the joining the sides together step. This is going to take a few hours.
