All things TRiumph! You will probably find me out in the garage working on one of my 7 vintage TRiumph Sports Cars, 1959 TR3A, 1960 TR3A, 1962 TR4, 1968 TR250 ,1970 TR6 PI, 1973 TR6 and 1981 TR8.
Great show. Nice to see at least one GT6 present. Always nice to see a Group 44 car albeit this is probably an enthusiast’s recreation. Congrats on the win!
Thank you David for the excellent videos allowing us to see the complete Trials adventures that you enjoyed. Congratulations on the 1st in class honor. All the cars were stunning!
Good morning Dave. Nice to see you having fun out there back east and I wish I was there with you guys. I have noticed that very few TRs have an alternator conversion. I converted mine to a 64 amp several years ago (fits a Corvette) as I have driving lights, CB radio, and it seems to work just fine. I have wondered why more TR owners don't do this simple conversion. I am also glad that you are having great weather out there! Cheers! Jerry 😎👍
Dave, hope all is well with you. Happy fall as well. This is the time of year I'd ride up to Bridgenorth, ON to see my cousin. Take care. And hello to Elin as well.
@@nicktomasi392 well, you could go as fast as the pace car or for most people, the car in front of you as there is no passing allowed. I don’t think anyone could keep up with the pace car…I think I managed to get up to about 65 mph…clicked into 4th overdrive once as I recall. The 3rd lap was the fastest.
Looks like a beautiful area. Mother Nature has been hard at work carving through that rock. Nice to have a car you can trust to take you out and bring you home. Thanks for the trip.
That's why I allways cut the metal clamp AND also make a small cut (not too deep so the plastic fitting don't get damaged) into the rubber pipe in the same lenght the rubber hose is sitting on the plastic fitting. Never turn od bend the connected rubber hose before cutting is done and the pressure is released from the plastic fitting, those plastic shitty things are allways old and brake easily away. Sorry for your loss ;-)
Very nice video, David. Thanks. Lovely scenery, interesting cars and museums. Your car runs and sounds as good as it looks. Enjoyed riding along with you.
Hi Joe, many of us are running 1 inch larger and wider wheels than what were offered from the factory. Also, many of us have modified the suspension to be slightly lower.
