Yeah, Double Eagle 505 🙂 Need to get one for my Kolibri Micro Turbine, as long it possible is to find this cute bird at some dealers. Henke in Sweden alredy did it successfully! Stunning! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fKtW-rn1dkk.html
Cool! 👍🏼 I saw one on a video of ProWing here in Germany (Martin Pickering) and ordered it when the email around 10 days ago came immediately 🤣 let’s see how it goes
Heres my 2 cents, SPORT jets and SCALE jets definitely should have retracts. Their will always be a coversation "It should come with retracts ".... You never hear anyone complain it came with retracts. Enough said .. Wheels up 😎
@RCPlaneReviewer my friend the owner of bad boys rc and me made sure ailerons were going in the right direction 100 percent sure. Turned off jet Turned back on took jet off ailerons thin reversed . Down it went hard. It has a jeti 24 in it. We have never seen this before. It was a new central box jeti receiver. 😢 . I need to no how this can happen before I use the jeti again. Got any ideas.
Doesn't matter what year it is. Retracts add to the RRP and addition costs when they break on botched landings by new fliers which at this £ point is typically aimed at. At this size they'd need to add more strength and thickness to the foam for the retracts and servos. Not ideal for a light weight park flier. Plenty alternative jets with retracts if its a must have.
@markmcc21 well if it was 1999 adding retracts would most likely be more complicated and expensive and not very good with 1999 manufacturing techniques. With today's technology they should be able to add them for pennies on the dollar. It's not hard to do. The technology has already been made. All they need to do is implement it. If had to pay 220 or 230 I'd be way more inclined to buy it if it had some sort of retracts. If I can 3d print and install retracts on a 50mm viper then they have no excuse. So yea the year has much more to do with it than you think.
I think you need to do a head to head speed trial with the Flyfans L-39 and this Viper. At essentially the same price point the L-39 is a vastly superior 64mm model. Just watching the two videos it looks like the L-39 might have a 15-20mph speed advantage, retracts, and comes in what, 3 different liveries? Hard to beat.
The L-39 is more of a 70mm sized jet with a 64mm EDF. This is a dedicated 64mm and reflects it in size. L-39 is faster, but I feel like the flight envelope on the viper has the edge. Imho I could do it but it's not apples to apples.
@RCPlaneReviewer L39 is definitely a 70mm size plane, but using a 64mm fan. Just bought one a month ago and it's the same frame size as all my 70mm eflite and 70mm habu.
What can you say, its obviously gonna fly well just looking at it, as long as the CG is correct. Thats the first plane I've seen that size that recommends 2 batteries in series. 3S is very inexpensive, and common too. I use 2200s in a lot of planes.
I totally agree, I never have seen this lipo set up before in a model, I'm going to try a 3000mah and that should be good too. Excellent Lil bird and the price is affordable 👌
I just love that more manufacturers are making these 64mm 6S planes. I also want more Twin 64mm 6S planes. It's just great for the hobby to have more affordable 6S jets.
What? Very Efficient? NO WAY. Second flight, on Sokokin 6s 4000, took off 6:20, landed 8:20. And only 11% energy left. Less than 2 minutes flight time with 6s 4000? If landed at 20% 😮😢😂
Is it possible to setup flaperons while using a 4ch sbus gyro? I saw on two brothers RC that he broke out the Ailerons and Stabilators from the ycable, but I'm interested to know if just flapperons can be mixed in through my AT10ii radio. I'm VERY new to this, 1 real RC flight to date with the F35 as my first and only RC plane. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
@RCPlaneReviewer I just want you to know I took off and landed twice, no damage, in a tight parking lot near my house. Seeing another brother beast mode the F35 inspired me to get one, and fly it cold turkey. I know it's not supposed to work this way, but why not skip all the steps and see what happens? Now I just have to remember to keep the speed up when turning with the strong cross wind. I'm going to take what I've learned and start yelling at my friends to start flying. It took everything I had, and it worked for my first flight on my first RC plane.
@@RCPlaneReviewer Right back at you brother. Your pretty much the only person who could understand the emotions of a first flight, and the accomplishment of not crashing. Know that you and your channel are an inspiration to other brothers like me. I am subscribed now, lol.
