I was wondering when you guys will talk about this woke virus why is so evil especially woke is brainwashing to our humidity to Society including younger generations of this timeline. I am definitely curious how worse will it get to 2030 or even to 2050 or 2100 but depends on God how long it will take to have all end of time to be finish when all things & hell breaks loose on this earth. But I am very grateful to God we can still enjoy life but don't be to comfortable in this life, things will get worse.

I am unimpressed with the "ten commandments" and all the rest of your bible's "morality". It commands women to be subserviant, that slavery is fine and other absurdities. In scripture, we are at Revelation 20:7. The big end time events start in October, 2024. We can know "when" we are on God's prophetic calendar. It is written in the book of 2nd Esdras. Chapter 11 contains a prophecy that describes a line of American presidents, four of whom are still alive, and two of them are being kept until "the end." All of them are old men. We must allow the Bible to be our guide. As you note, It shows the end is fast approaching. But 2 Esdras is not a part of the Bible. And the Bible guides us that nobody knows the day nor the hour of Christ's return except the Father. In recent times we have witnessed many predictions of the end-time come---and go! The prophecies in 2 Esdras, chapters 11, 12, and 13 were written centuries ago, long before the United States existed - yet they correctly describe, in detail, a line of 15 United States presidents starting with Hoover. Ezra wrote those chapters. He was not guessing.
Did anyone point out how one of the dancers in the runway was a person with physical disabilities wearing crutches, and how that person did some impressive dance moves in spite of such limitations? Or how about when in the "Éternité" portion toward the end, with the runners passing on the torch to other athletes, they featured paralympic athletes, as well as athletes of other ethnic backgrounds, all running together in unity? Or how about Celine Dion's incredible singing even after she has been fighting a neurological disorder that has affected her physical health and still gave an impressive performance? How quick can we be to focus on just a handful of negative things and overlook some truly good ones... As a UCG attendee, I do not believe this video has proper context on some aspects of the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics this year. In this video, at 7:25 Mr. Shabi points out the Biblical portion of the four horsemen in the end time. And the horse displayed at 7:40 is said to be a reference to the pale horse of the end times. That is completely contrary to the evidence I've encountered about that portion of the ceremony. The horseman riding that metallic horse across the Seine, and later seen riding a real white horse followed by flag bearers, is a reference to Joan of Arc, French hero in the Hundred Years' War. Understandably, the depiction of her in the ceremony is highly stylized and not 100% authentic, but she is typically depicted wearing armor in paintings. The costume that person is wearing is by French designer Jeanne Friot (instagram.com/p/C95nRHfg-7N/?hl=es&img_index=1) and this is also cleared throughout other articles such as this one (medium.com/@nitisharora41/joan-of-arc-illuminates-the-paris-2024-olympics-opening-ceremony-cc3a57567ea9#:~:text=By%20incorporating%20Joan%20of%20Arc,ethos%20of%20the%20Olympic%20Games.) This metallic armored horse rider is later seen accompanied by 2 other riders, so it is no way a reference to the Bible's imagery of the 4 horsemen. 5:33 The 2022 Commonwealth Games featuring a bull is a reference to the bull being a symbolic animal of the city of Birmingham, which in the 19th century, according to the commentator of this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JZRX4-h8c3Y.html), were baited and sold for centuries. The women pulling the bull by chains is a reference to the time of Industrial Revolution in England when women were chain makers who were underpaid and overworked. So basically signifying being enslaved by their own circumstance. The ending of that portion of the bull can be strange of course, but I don't know if all the strange things depicted in a sports ceremony is a conscious desire to be an offense to God. They are simply artistic for the sake of being art. Yes, the portion of the Paris ceremony featuring the supper, which some say is a Dionysus representation while others claim is a Last Supper recreation, is highly provocative and can feel out of place within the context of a sports event. In that sense, a sports event should bring people together. So, as my dad pointed out, if they are going to bring people together, they can be mindful about not just making some communities feel included and accepted (like they do with the LGBTQ+), but also not stirring up some unnecessary strife with other groups, such as religious communities of any kind. I could be wrong on what I said regarding the 2 ceremonies I elaborated on, and I'm willing to concede if I'm wrong. But I think it is disconcerting to see that, sometimes, as a Church we are quick to just zero-in on some few bad aspects of one thing, but somehow turn a blind eye to other genuinely good things that happen. The Last Supper/Dionysus part of the ceremony is but one very small portion of the entire 5-hour plus ceremony. Perhaps we should not also let ourselves be so negative. If they intended to truly mock Christianity in some sense, then making a whole video on how distasteful it was only plays into their game. I agree that we should be aware and should have a spiritual sensitivity about things that happen out there, and I also I do not believe EVERYTHING that happens out in the world is out to be offensive to Christianity or to God. Let sports and arts be their own thing.
Thank you for the most thoughtful and sane remarks in this thread. It took a really wicked person with a certain kind of heart and motive to freeze-frame a particular one second in a dance sequence and then crop out most of the 37 dancers in the performance to leave just several, and in a moment when they were in front of Dionysus' bachhanalian table (although none were seated!) in order to claim that this was a depiction of The Last Supper (an event of 13 men - only - seated). Dionysus was clothed and styled (horns, red beard etc.) correctly - only ignorant idiots would not recognize this, just as they did not understand the 'parkour' throughout the opening, and as you say, the dual reference to Joan of Arc and Sequana goddess of the Seine. Unfortunately, the dim American commentators (Kelly Clarkson et al !!) weren't able to provide the same insight and cultural background that the BBC and other channels were able to do -- hence the 'up-in-arms' hysteria of the American churches in their ignorance. There were also references to the bull symbol above the Olympic rings, as if that were a new 'woke' thing. Again, zero knowledge of the Palace of Thassos, the Minoan bull and its role in the Olympics historically (Rafael Nadal selected that bull for his own logo) - a bull has been included for hundreds of years as traditional Olympic imagery. What people forget is that the Olympic games are rooted in a pagan society; that fewer than 25% of all Olympic competitors are Christian: and that the vast majority of the countries competing are not Christian countries either. We should all remember that we are watching a secular international sporting even where the host country shows something of its history and culture, the ideas and ambience traditionally associated with its heritage, during the opening ceremony......it's NOT "church"! This hate, there is no other word for it, that is shown by those who feel that their religion should be the driving theme behind a presentation of a tradition that pre-dates their very religion, and forced upon the three-quarters of the participants and countries who do not have the same religion, is perhaps one of the reasons that the masses of people that churches want to attract find their messaging so repellent.

Clearly you seem to have deeper insight into the Olympics and age-old traditions of ancient Greco-Roman society. And I applaud you for having an open mindset as to where certain cultures get their traditions. I don't live in the US, so like you, I also watched the ceremony through a different network. The commentators gave some useful information on the symbols and imagery in the ceremony. Yes, some events/ceremonies aren't intentionally religious. I still think perhaps, occasions as this one can be more targeted to overall union and not cause any potential strife with other groups, considering they already promote an inclusion agenda, even if what they plan to present is edgy or provocative. But that's me. Where you and I differ is that I don't think name-calling or using strong remarks at people who criticize these things is correct. As I originally commented, I think the video lacked context and gave the insight I know. Perhaps the religious people you talk about and that you've been exposed to might have been unwelcoming to you and others, and maybe not the best examples of Christian/religious folks. I'm a church attendee of the very same church behind these video productions and I can attest that I've had the pleasure to meet incredibly knowledgeable people there, and incredibly talented, such as those who collaborate in these videos. So I can tell you not all religious people are quite the same. It just so happens that, on THIS particular video, I disagreed on some points and didn't intend to cause any strong reactions, but rather present a different view point, considering I attend this group (we can still have differing views even within the same social sphere). While I am aware there are many (and mostly) good well-intentioned people in the church I stand by my remarks that those who present these points of view are woefully ignorant - with the result if looking foolish to the rest of the world. Instead of taking the time to think about a response, they so willingly like lemmings, latch into whatever biased drivel comes out of those with an agenda to pile on hate and divide people. And why have a ‘response’ to the opening ceremonies or any rebates at all? It was a secular sports event, nothing to do with ‘church’ or an American point of view. The video smacks of a desire to appear arrogant and superior about a particular religion, as if seizing any opportunity for a preach platform. I would suggest we try to imagine a platform of presenting and teaching (and living) the true gospel instead of rushing in to bash everyone and every thing when there appears to be an opportunity to ‘correct’. Truthfully, there was absolutely no need to address this topic: it has nothing to do with preaching the truth. (But we know it gets eyeballs, gas-lights people etc. and as such comes across more as hucksterism than anything of authentic value - thereby turning more people off than having any other effect). It is sad that organizations who talk about going as a Greek to Greeks, as Jews to Jews etc. and being ‘above’ politics so absolutely lack the skills to do this and jumps so readily into the political swamp. What a ‘dog-whistle’ insertion suggesting that presidential candidate Kamala Harris is a ‘wrong’ choice - is the church implying that the thrice-divorced six-times bankrupt convicted rapist and 34-count felon Donald Trump is the ‘right’ choice because he is not ‘woke’? ‘Woke’ of course being weaponized by ignorant people again and this meaning so eagerly adopted by churches because they are being led by their members instead of leading them. We would do well to note that the statements about ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ and ‘itching ears given to fables’ do not have a date-stamp on them that has expired - they apply to the church today.

The moment you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are “sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance” (Ephesians 1:13-14). You are “born again” (John 3:7), but it is a spiritual birth into the family of God. As Paul explains, “you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26). This new birth is of “incorruptible seed” (1 Peter 1:23) and “cannot sin” (1John 3:9). You are, then, forever a child of God. He will “never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). You will never be “cast out” (John 6:2). Furthermore, to those who have trusted Him as Savior, Jesus says “no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand” (John 9:31). This would include YOU yourself. In other words, you can't lose your salvation once you have it. Remember, it’s “by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2: 8-9). Anyway, nothing imperfect can enter into heaven, which is why “flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 15:50). Here, Paul continues by explaining that “nor does corruption inherit incorruption.” Thankfully, as we remember, our new birth is of “incorruptible seed” (1 Peter 1:23). Your new birth (your spiritual nature), then, is forever perfect. You are eternally secure (going to heaven no matter what) because there are now no sins to pay for. (You can't KNOW you're going to heaven until you know you CAN’T go to hell). Why can't you go to hell once you've trusted Christ as Savior? Simple, because… Christ Paid For My Sins (ALL of them- past, present, and future). So yeah, let's choose to walk “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24), and not give the flesh the attention it seeks. So, WHEN you happen to sin (and we ALL do as long as we're on this earth), because “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8)...just know you were walking in the flesh instead of the Spirit. Remember, if we pretend like “we have not sinned, we make Him a liar” (1 John 1:10). When you sin, then, that doesn't mean you're now going to hell (remember, your new birth is spiritual and CANNOT be revoked). It just means you were focusing on temporal things instead of eternal things. This is the power of your new identity in Christ: you are forever a child of God (and so going to heaven). Let's live our lives like we actually believe it. Let's have boldness and joy in proclaiming this Good News! Let's not let our “minds be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3). After all, the one, true Gospel IS simple, and here it is: CHRIST PAID FOR MY SINS (past, present, and future). The very moment you believe/accept that he paid for YOURS, you can be SURE that you're going to heaven. Meditate on that, and it becomes easier to walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh. I am very sorry you failed to do your due diligence. You call yourself spiritually safe, yet you have not studied Genesis to Revelation to learn the treasures that the Almighty has concealed from the world in His word. He tells us it is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the honor of kings to search it out. May I suggest you do not rely upon your I own understanding but study line upon line Genesis to Revelation what the Almighty reserved for those eager to know Him instead of the lies inherited from the fathers. Revelation 20 speaks of 2 maybe 3 resurrections, and their differences, but also gives hope to the vast majority of those who have ever lived but not of the called out ones of the first resurrection. i've been telling my familiies. that the 2nd coming of Christ is near. and will come soon. but they still refused to hear me. my dad and brother is christian. but they don't follow the true teaching. they don't even accepted that sabbath is never changed. my dad loves to mock me about doing the sabbath. telling me that i'm a jewish by doing that. i always replied to him "it never changed, sabbath is still the same. never changed to sunday" but at least my brother kinda changed about 1 thing. he used to love saying that he might kill himself. i told him that if you do that. you will be rejected by God. i told him that there is a verse in the bible that specifically wrote about that. he might have checked on it. he stopped saying that. but he still wont change to the true teaching. i do hope that they will change. because i've been telling them, about the insanity of this world. especially the recent olympic.

Holy this guy is full of so many lies. Guess he never read his edited bible very well. If he read the true bible and the book of Maccabees he would have read about the victory the Jews had over the Romans. Its called the Festival of Dedication. John 10:22 shows Jesus was at the temple for the festival. He is right on 1 thing though, the bible does show truth vs lies. Everything he said in this is easily proven false with the bible.
The Book of Maccabees is not in the canonized Bible. As a Jew Jesus kept the Festival of Dedication (John 10:22) but it's not one of God's commanded Sabbaths, kind of like our 4th of July. Rick Shabi gave Bible verses proving all the points he made.
@@Tom-w1n Actually the book of Maccabees is. It wasn't edited out of the protestant bible until 1880ish. The very first edition of the KJV had those books in it. On this very platform type in 400+ Year Old King James Bible and you'll see a man with a massive bible in a short with 1.3 million view and watch it for yourself. That festival is a foreshadow just like the bronze serpent that Moses raised up. Rick lied , those verses do not back up anything he claimed. He said celebrating at Christmas time was Pagan. Obviously not if Jesus was celebrating a festival that had existed for nearly 2 centuries prior to his birth. Literally everything he has said in this video is a bold face lie.

I totally agree with pastor. I stopped participating that pagan practice for 10 years. I have established a habit of asking this question 'what would the Lord Yeshua say about it?' It works very well for me. Thank you for this teaching.
