I started flying radio-controlled airplanes in my 40s, a passion I had longed for since I was a child, and at the age of 50, I joined the radio-controlled airplane club (NKFC). I still feel the same way I did when I was a young boy. I hope to provide tips on how to enjoy radio-controlled airplanes as a hobby. I enjoy a wide range of genres, from stunt planes to gasoline acro planes, large warplanes (scale planes), seaplanes, and more, and I hope to convey the fun of radio-controlled airplanes to everyone.
14番目の演技名に誤って12番目をテロップに入れてしまっていました。失礼しました。 正しくは下記の通りです。 ご指摘ありがとうございました。 14 Top hat with two quarter rolls. Option: Top hat with quarter roll, quarter roll.
Do you fly with the rudder deflections as recommended in the Manual? How many cm is the full flaps down way? In the Manual they say 2,5 cm, it seems a bit les for me. How much kg does the model weigh? Tank‘s for your answer.
Flaps full down about 90 degrees. Install the ballast 240g to the noise. The total model weight is 12.8kg Please see the How to Build & Assemble video as follows, youtube/VafRLWVkIrc I hope this will help your reference.
The flap settings are based on the angle with the wing. The first stage flap angle is 15 degrees. The second stage is full flap and 60 degrees. I'm glad if you can use it as a reference.
Nice video and amazing camera angle. Interesting how little aileron is needed on the plane. Noticed you have switched to an aluminum spinner, was this for adjusting CG to a more nose heavy balance?
The reason we are changing to an aluminum spinner is partly because the standard spinner is not well balanced and partly to improve tail-heaviness at the center of gravity.
Your plane seems to be set up well and you do an expert job on the sticks. I have just purchased the latest version of this model with the carbon reinforced superstructure and electric retracts. Planning on powering it with a DL50 and a custom exhaust. Hopefully I can make mine look as good in the air as yours does.
