That last one “it’s OK to not be OK” well that’s actually false… because work environments will crucify you once they have completed their tick box of measures that they have offered you… then they will just shit on you… from someone who has MH issues and been patronised with some ignorant and unqualified HR allocated MH person and then sacked… and looking like it will happen again… when what help I need is proper treatment by a professional with resources.

I am suffering of a mental desease and do be go to a psychiatric clinic and day hospital and be following by my psychiatrist and psychologist. I can never work again as emergency doctor. I receive a pension of the state (France, I’am french) and considered as disabled by te psychiatrist doctors. I would never imagined that in my life of medical student then as doctor. My feeling is that I ve failed and that my life is a failure. I’am feeling guilty toward my family, with three children. My wife got a second cancer and I would like to help all of them. When I meet someone or somes friends, I say I’m a doctor the they ask me where...I lie, I don’t say the true, It ‘hard to say that I have a mental desease and that I ve to go the psychiatric clinic. Then they say that I’am rich. I was relatively easy and confortable but now I’m poor and can’t help my wife and children. Two weeks ago with the other patient we have make a spectacle of dance in the theatre of the small city where I live in France. It’s stupid but I was anxious to be recognized by someone I know. Nowadays, It was the International Week of mental Well-being. The symbole it’s the green ribbon. In fact the spectator, a lot of spectators were enthusiasts with our performances. It was a moment of pleasure during a time when I forget all blacks thinks about me. I’ve shared this pleasure with my friends, who have each other a mental desease, but I don’t want to know, they are my friends. That’s is very important.

People wear their mental health diagnosis like a badge of honour these days. Most mental health problems have no medical origin, rather their are social causes and usually self inflicted. Stop taking drugs, abusing alcohol, over eating and get some exercise and fresh air. Or don't and stay miserable, I couldn't give a shit either way.

There is someone who cares deeply for you and His name is Jesus. You may not agree with what I have to say but many people would tell you to go see a therapist, psychologist, take antidepressants, make your mind occupied, enjoy the company of others, etc but the truth is that is not the answer, now of course they can help but the only one who can truly heal is Jesus, who is the Author of Love, the Prince of Peace, He is there to turn to when everybody else walks away. This world will give you a list of things to help you cope with depression, anxiety, heartache, loneliness, stress, etc but most of time, not all the time but most of the time they won't mention God who is greater than all your problems, and a better comforter and healer than anything the world has to offer. I am not telling you to just start attending a church service every Sunday, Saturday, or whenever, but to surrender ALL to Jesus and form a relationship with your Creator, and walk with Him, talk to Him because He wants to know you and is waiting with open arms for you to come home to Him. You should get to know Him by reading His Word and learning about His character, talk to Him (prayer) like you do to your best friend although keep it respectful, don't worry about big words or even getting on your knees, just talk to Him, get in a community of fellow believers (church), who will be there for you, and who love, support, and encourage you. This is not just some "religious" speech because Jesus is indeed real because He has delivered many from depression, heartache, illness, addiction, insecurities, trauma's, and even suicidal mindsets, and because of that people have beautiful testimonies to give to the world. This is the gospel, Jesus came down to redeem us from the power of sin and death, by His sacrifice on the cross, and atoning blood and rose from the dead three days later according to the scriptures. Repent of your sins (turn from/change your mind) put your faith and trust fully in His sufficient sacrifice as the only thing that can save you from your sins, accept Him as Savior and Lord, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, next get baptized in His name, read His Word starting with the gospel of John, and strive to live holy. Your life has purpose. ❤️
