How exactly do they attach? Are the plastic push pins just snapped through the foam and into the BPD guard grooves or are there specific mounting points?
I thought the same thing but my current radiator guards have holes I can utilize with a shouldered bolt and put the straps to those. Also you could just drill a new hole in your current guards and tap it. Not that difficult
My one bolt fell out and another bolt broke during install /: i had to buy a new bolt and luckily I had an extra short one from the box but still bummed. I think I just messed up the install and I’m mad at myself
Doing mine right now, first time removing a TPS on a modern 2 stroke. Not gonna lie was a little nervous just removing the TPS not worrying about calibration etc.... Here goes... *edit - 2023 Husqvarna TE300
Hello Alex, please feel free to send the full bike model to sales@bulletproofdesigns.com and we will let you know which part fits your specific bike. Thank you
Hi @daledirtbiker, we apologize for the lack of instructions in the kit. The rubber o-rings are an optional way to mount your shrouds to the radiator guards instead of bolting them. This allows the shrouds to flex a bit more in a crash, the straps will break before your shrouds. Please contact us at sales@bulletproofdesigns.com if you need detailed installation instructions. Thanks.
From a safety perspective, I would suggest some Loctite the carrier bolt (at 1:51). Don't want that backing out (I made the same comment on the front disk guard video). Love the BPD stuff. Top quality.

Install question. I noticed in another video done by Jay over at dirt bike tv, that he drilled and tapped a hole in the swingarm. I see that there are a couple holes in my guard that would allow one to do just that. Is that something you recommend doing?
Drilling and tapping your swingarm is still an option. We sell the drill and tap separately on our website. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at sales@bulletproofdesigns.com
Well if you gona bulletproof your bike then you misses the most important part , clutch slave protection. With a chain jacked in between the sprocket and the clutch slave cylinder your not only having a DNF you Also need to swing by the bank before the dealer for new crankcases.
Hi Carl, that is the brake pad spring plate. This is what keeps the brake pads aligned properly in the caliper mounting bracket-you will need to transfer this little aluminum spring plate over to our Rear Disc Guard prior to installing on your bike. Hope this helps, you can always call us here at the shop with any question: 816-695-3784.
