Asking for a friend, if somebody adjusted the nuts/bolt on the end of the header by the belt tensioner that he said not to touch… what would be the procedure to get it close to factory?
That B is a rarity. It has an L model cab, which is roomier that the B cabs, especially those with a curved rear wall. As I understand it, When the L models were phasecout, to be replaced by the Bs, the company had a number of L cabs on hand, and rather than junk them, it was decided to use them on B chassis. I wish I had one.
i always loved L modal since my dad start trucking with one and he teach me driving with . she was simple strong and never let us down . good old time .
I’ve been absolutely terrified of the day I’d have to set one of these things up and run it and maintain it! After watching this video, I really feel like I have an understanding of whats going on here! MacDon FD75 pretty much dominates the PNW now, so the change is eminent, but, I’m kind of looking forward to it. Thanks for the great Video Clinic! Im going to look at a 9240 tomorrow with a FD75 and Im going straight for that left side panel to make sure it has the BOOK! 🙏🏼
It’s not uncommon in the industry to do a rebuild due to the high hours these machines usually put on. Sometimes it’s more financially feasible to do the rebuild rather than buy a new unit.
Lol they have several engine options as long as you want the mp8??? I own a 2012 chu613 pinnacle and after a full her delete it's a great truck!! I was gonna order a new pinnacle 64t with an x15 cummins but you can't get it in the mack???? You can get it in the volvo but not the mack??? That's a shame so I guess I'll take my money over to peterbilt now. I really like the mack but that mp8 is too proprietary.
