This is a very interesting talk. I imagine as ai language models improve we will see somewhat of an arms race between them and these ai detectors. Eventually the models might reach a point where it truly is indistinguishable from human writing without having that individual’s other writing and comparing them against each other. I think educators should really be relying more on their intuition and understanding of their students ability to evaluate if a student is attempting to submit ai generated material.
How do you call yourself a digital course when your own explanation video have background music louder than the person who is speaking. Also to mention his microphone sounds like it has a lot of dirt making it hard to understand what he is saying. What a shame

I'm confused on what do we do with the Surpass Viewer? Do I take the exam on the Surpass Viewer URL or in Google Chrome browser?? I just don't understand what URL to put in the Surpass viewer and do I need to have the google chrome open at the same time? please help!
This is absolutely apalling. This video and information is a year late for starters, secondly it suggests interleaving and not following a block format, but all of the NCFE resources (which are full of errors everywhere) use a block format. Referring back to the last lesson, or a previous unit, or last week's homework. They have given us a year too late a load of resources which they now suggest we shouldn't be / aren't able to use. Come on NCFE! I Have been teaching and lecturing for over 20 years, have written degree courses and used many exam boards - you have managed to be the absolute worst I have experienced and you did it in less than a year. This course, the people in charge of creating and administering it, and if it is a reflection of the other courses on offer, the exam board itself is not fit for purpose and needs to have a serious deep dive from ofqual.
Thank you for your feedback. To provide some extra context around this video, it is a recording of a live session that was made available to all our providers before the start of the academic year 2023-24, and was specifically aimed at centres starting delivery with year 10s. For those providers that started the qualification in September 2022, we provided First Teach recordings of live sessions at the time to support the planning of delivery and formative assessment of the V Cert Level 1/2 Technical Awards for all subject areas. It might also be useful for you to note that there are a range of adaptable resource packs (containing schemes of work, presentations and workbooks) available on the NCFE website to further assist your delivery of this qualification. It is essential that when planning for teaching, and throughout delivery, that the interdependencies and links build across the content areas of the qualification and are highlighted and reinforced. The teaching content does not have to be delivered in a linear way; the unit contents are interdependent in knowledge, skills, and concepts. However, teachers may take a synoptic teaching approach across the qualification. We hope this is helpful and we’d be more than happy to have an offline chat with you about how we can best support you and your students going forward - please just email provider.development@ncfe.org.uk and we can arrange a call.

What a lovely and heartwarming video! I'm definitely going to share it with my grandchildren. It's my hope that they will grow up inspired by the incredible individual featured here, and strive to become just as remarkable.
