Cmon at least get the position right yo! Rocky just got caught slipping the first time , the second time , he did the right thing. And for the record, if Leon would've had 30 more seconds he would've won that fight . It looks like he hit Bilal with a hatchet 🪓 at the end
💯 This is just a snippet of a longer video I'm releasing. Works for the high single when they're on the side though too. If they're more in front of you, you're going for a ride. ✈️
@BrainWaveMMA, Only if their head is on the inside which agian is nowhere near the situation. The situation Edwards was in he should have been switching and reach inside the thigh, turning his hips and using leverage again Belal's inside arm.
Try it before you deny it. I use ithe hook all the time. The throw you'll almost never get afterwards unless it's a newbie or smaller opponent, but the hook works as long as they're on your side. Even on Olympic levels you see this. Works anytime they're on your side. If they catch the high single in the front like they should, you're going for a ride no matter what.✈️
@Boz24 The guy showed the wrong scenario and it isn’t really applicable when being crotch lifted. However in the scenario he showed it would actually work, I’ve wrestled all my life and have hooked the leg like he shows to prevent being returned to the mat.
💯 True, but his leg was in the same position at the beginning of the lift after he lost his overhook, so he still could've used it before he went up. This is just a snippet of a longer video I made on this subject. Full video will be out tomorrow.
It's a posting drill, Bruh.😂 It's not meant for you to learn Double-Legs. But, watch any MMA match and most of them shoot from pretty far out. They just throw a 1 or 1+2 to close that distance and get you to raise your hands for better access to the body. Stay tuned for part 2. It focuses on how to post when they shoot from a closer position. I'm posting it next week.
@@BrainWaveMMAobviously not saying ur wrong because you obviously have more experience but I thing it’s purely down to being taught different techniques but hey mma is all about having a open minded and trying techniques so I definitely will give this ago in sparring
@@jayjones3429 Agreed. Think of the fully extended post more like a long guard if you've familiar with Muay Thai. That's the way I teach it. Next video will be more elbow bent with the forearm post. Honestly, you'll use both in MMA, but you're right, you'll use the the forearm post for closer takedown defense and the long guard post if you're a distance fighter. Connor McGregor and Suga Sean are two good long post fighters to watch. 🙏 Thanks for the great conversation too. You're giving me some ideas for more content!🙌
How are you teaching her anything when he has to hold back , real aggression does not look like this , you better teacher more aggressive moves , if he wanted to she would have being doneong ago
Beating people is the best way to get better buliding confidence and then also having people to destroy or humble you. Also its a girl vs guy, you have to go slightly or very easier against smaller girls.
