Jeff: Thank you for your coverage of your journey from Toronto to Vancouver. I'll be taking the eastbound trip in September, my first time on the Canadian. Your videos provided a vivid impression of the trip and I really enjoyed them.
Ahh, this train ride is so awesome. We eecently did it and loved it so much. Cant get over it. Your video rekindled so many memories. Loved it. Subbed.
Thank you for the videos! One tip for the rattling: Believe it or not, close the drain in the sink and put some water in there. Most of the rattling comes up from the pipes used for the drain. It reduces it by more than 50%. Sometimes 70%.
Thank you this was extremely helpful to let me know that there was something wrong with the cord - I could press the reset but not the test, it failed to work, so the temp didn't come on. Thank you!
@@JeffJedras you can. I add soaked wood chips and place them in the small Weber smoking box. I make sure to use chips specifically for smoking in a BBQ- more like dust. Place them in the box, and them place toward the back of the Q 2400 when you have 5 min left of heat up. It does not become flammable and imparts smoke to your food. The smoke is very minimum.
Jeff, many thanks for posting this most helpful video. My wife and I are moving into a quad, where charcoal or propane grills are not allowed. One of our summer pleasures in outdoor grilling, which we do not want to give up. Based on your review, I'm sure we'll be more than satisfied with the Weber Q2400. Again, many thanks.
Thanks for the nice review. Do you feel that it's worth the extra money to go with the Q2400 or is the smaller Q1400 good enough. The specs seem to indicate that they produce the same amount of heat.
I think it depends on how you use it and how many people you’re cooking for. If you’re one or two people and just do meat you may be fine with smaller. But, while I live alone, I like to do lots of veg as well. So with a couple sausages, a zucchini, a bell pepper and some mushrooms, I fill much of the space.
@@JeffJedras Thank you. I think I might go with the smaller one. I have a Weber Charcoal barbeque and Ninja Food Grill for winter use. Wanted to see how this electric one functions.
