This man's callousness has degraded Denmark's worldwide reputation. For the rest of his life, he will never go anywhere without the name "Marius" being whispered. Others have spoken about Karma, but surely just living with the image of the little giraffe's public autopsy will slowly destroy him.
Just as man has tainted the beauty of nature, so is our enjoyment of that remaining natural beauty tainted by liberal guilt trips. : ( Maybe next time instead of focusing on what we're doing wrong, keep things positive and suggest ways the average citizen can do to help.
@MrMercury75 The device is a modified e-meter (as used by Scientologists) Fluctuations in air currents around the plant may be causing the disturbance in the electrical conductivity of the plant
if i understand correctly, the device measures the electric pulses from the plant and converts them to MIDI notes. It's beautiful but saying that the plant "can sing" is a bit over the top. you could connect these signals to a video generator and get images - does it mean that the plant was "taught how to draw"?
I don t agree our 'philosophy' is limited to understand what is really happening here. In buddhism we agree that every living creature or organism has its own "sound" or vibration. Inaudible with our ears but that doesn t mean it s there. Through the training of the third ear some people are capable of actually hearing nature s sounds and communicate with animals, plants, minerals.... Not to say this invention, or rather discovery is amazing and opens so many doors for humanity.
