I couldn't really get the DNA stuff to work well, but I've been having fun just putting shroud in instead of the level 6 dog and keeping the DNA level 7 as just a hard evo

I don't know if you know but every time you use the effect of tai and matt to gain memory, you could of gained more memory by waiting until the effect of one of your lv 6 digivolved the lv3 to the other lv 6 that way you gain two memory instead of just the one, it really helps when you have multiple of the tai and matts on the field at the same time.
The deck profile is really good, I don’t use A.Youth in mine, I do run Mega Digimon Assembly a second way to dna into Takemika if it’s not in Trash I also include 1 copy of Shroud as safety net incase I can’t find kazuchi in time. As for Ukkomon, I use the bt6 pulsemon to get to that magic 3 sec number for some surprising tech and plays
Ooh, I like those choices! I considered playing Shroud on the Takemikazuchi build but you can't use it for the DNA as it needs names and not colours. Can hard digivolve into it but no DNA. Mega Digimon Assembly is a really cool idea, might try and make room for it myself. I also considered the BT6, so definitely something to play to get the magic three if you're not worried about the consistency as much. Got loads of searchers regardless..
Patamon is a really good shout actually. Dan's build is more red focused and I wanted to try and be more thematic so stuck to the Agumon. Pata is definitely a good shout though!
To be fair, that's a great shout. You can increase the maximum of the deletion effect and get more stuff in the trash for Crimson Mode. Might have to mention that to our resident Gallant players, thank you!
@@mightybenno1277 Yeah, you are right on that. Just had a look. Megidramon is treated as being ChaosGallant and not Gallant. The effect then states specifically Gallantmon and not Gallant in name. My bad!
Its so rough trying to cobble together a rando card deck going up against synergy decks , i think its going to be pretty impossible to get a win with rando cards against completed decks. Were any of the guys up to do this challenge with you at all?? It would be 2 rando decks against each other both would have a shot at winning and u could do like a little scoreboard that carries over and maybe have some bragging rights on the line. For sure fun challenge yet again altho it will be very much pain and more pain going against real decks so maybe 2 rando decks would just be more enjoyable for both u and whoever plays along.
Certainly something we are working on. At the moment, it's tough as we do have people willing but they don't have the right set up. Once they do, we can start doing two player DCGO series which has been something we've been planning for a while. For now though, it'll just be little old me 😅
Love the deck profile, im currently running 1 bt12 takato, along with 3 bt17 and 4 ex2, im still not 100% on the ratios and though your list has made me rethink my top end for e.g instead of your 3 crimson mode ace's im running 2 ace and 1 ex2 crimson mode.
Thank you! Yeah, I toyed with that idea myself. It's good because you've got a level 7 with no overflow cost but the Ace is just a massively power crept version of the EX2 one. Every effect is similar to the EX2 but more accessible or more devastation along with the defensive capabilities of an ace card. The overflow is the only negative so I would definitely go for just the Ace myself.
I want Nume gutted, so many other decks have been hit for less no purple list would of got to roam free for this long same with Mirage Gaogamon, Bandai curb stomped Beelze because of high representation in JP meanwhile EN had the deck at full power for about a month and has received no meaningful support as compensation for the hit, mirage has been roaming around since BT 13 limit the Mirage, if high representation is cause for limitations bandai needs to put their money where their mouth is or just admit they favour some colours over others
Yeah, absolutely agree. I forgot to touch on Mirage actually and definitely think it needs some sort of limitation to hurt it. It's seeing highevel representation four sets after it got all of it's tribal pieces. If you wanted to completely kill the deck, hit BT11 Mirage. If you just wanted to hurt it, hit one of the Thomas cards so it can burst and unsuspend less.
@@DUDigimon That would make me so happy. Greymon was my original archetype, but it just got completely surpassed by everything else. Having a more efficient climb would make it a lot more viable. Played Garuru a lot at some point as well but they squashed that right down so I eventually turned to Imperial. When I'm trying funky builds to make Greymon a bit more viable (adding in a couple BT15 Megadramon, etc) like I'm putting Mamemon in Diaboromon, you it's gotten bad. 😅
As an Imperial player who has splashed it in and has seen people splash it into the other DNA, I think Magna X should be banned from being in the same deck as any of the BT16 DNA lvl 5s aside from Dinobeemon. But definitely not in the same deck as the BT16 Davis & Ken. Edit: Yeah, Digizoid/Awakening needs to go. It let's you go into Magna X off Rapidmon for 3.
Awakening is a bit dumb. Definitely a card that has gotten better with age. Doing the banned pairs on Magna is an interesting idea, try and limit it to just blue armour perhaps.
Fair play dude! Hope you have a good time with it. The list on Friday is primarily for Japan so we should have a bit of time with these decks until the bans/limits come into effect for us.
The lower end is the only thing affected by the boosts on BT13. Because they increase the maximum. The second kill shot on that effect has no Maximum, only a minimum.
Well so far we are well beyond the 16th and still no cards here ( really frustrating). I like gallantmon great digimon wanne try make it work as well as possible i really like the profile i might make it my first go template and then go from there. Also totally get the being a dad and having a brain that aint working well all the time ( part of the dads club myself ) so always look it up and pass on the right info rather then trying to remember and passing on wrong info ( just my 2 cents on that tho ) Great profile thnxs folks for theorycrafting this one!
Yeah, same our way too. I've seen one place selling singles but holding out until I've opened some sealed. That choice, however, is getting harder and harder to stick to! Thanks for the dad-empathy, hard enough remembering decks I do play let alone ones I don't! And thank you for the feedback, took a few drafts but this is the one we all settled on.
That's fair. As I said in the video, I'm not really a Shine player so I just wanted to see how yellow we could potentially go. EX4 is definitely great for that start of main.
I feel like I'm leaning more towards the yellow build. I like the bt17 support and want to give it a try. The lvl 7 numbers is a bit high so might take out the ruin mode and of thebother bursts for some potential security bombs
@@UlforceMagna For sure! As I said in the video, I built that as a non-Shine player and just wanted to fit in anything I could. In retrospect, my build probably needs some streamlining. But as a guide, I think it does the job. Hope your build goes well!
@DUDigimon I'm not saying I'm much of a shine player either. Only played it a few times at locals. Both builds are definitely a hood base to start with. I will let you know what my testing results are.
Nice profiles i think ill do a mix some cards like the lvl 3s ( the older ones ) are just too good compared to the new card but i like some of the new yellow stuff so kindda see where we going with it. Having said that i hope u guys are having more luck getting your boxes cause i just foned where i ordered from and they still dont have it so more waiting i suppose ex7 due to come out in like what 3 / 4 weeks if that..... Anyways nice profiles!

I started building a fun Omni deck just because I LOVE the Digimon movie part with Omnimon. But some cards got expensive as hell. Sec Melga is 40 bucks upwards here in Germany, Alter B as well. I will try to build the budget version with basically only the stuff and the cheap cards. Still need 4 white greymon and 2 Omni ace.
Oof. Yeah, prices are not fun on those right now. I was pretty lucky, got the Melga on mates rates and got Alter B fir just under £20.00 on eBay. You could definitely play a more budget version of the deck though. Maybe leaning into some of the Alter S stuff as you can still DNA into that on your turn or on the opponents with Miraculous Mega Knight. Definitely some room to cut corners. Omnimon X BT10 could be your Alter B replacement as well. Tech in X Antibody BT9 too, which is something I'm tempted to do to better facilitate that combo.

I feel like a lot of people are relying too much on Takemiki as Pulsemons top end. In my opinion I believe our top end should be aiming to go into Kazuchimon & Shroudmon to end matches. Takemiki in a pulsemon deck feels like Omnimon blitz.
I get you. I'm stuck between the more pure Pulse deck and the Takemikazuchi build. I think I am still leaning towards the Takemikazuchi build though because it really gives the deck some fire power. Plus, because Takemikazuchi has Pulsemon in it's own text, it still reaps the benefits of all of your Pulsemon inheritables. I really like the card and really appreciate that it can work I'm both Pulse and Looga.
@DUDigimon you can still run Takemiki and Fenrir, but what I'm implying is that Takemiki feels like an omnimon blitz. Pulesemon can still do lots of dmg be it chip dmg. With my time with the deck I have the fenrir cards at 1 for both because I'm focusing more towards consistency and dmg control.
Been playing a lot of pulsemon leading up to bt17, and find that the engine plays extremely well with the etemon/valk ace line. Boutmon puts a lot of decks in check with a protected body that either goes into kazuchi or threatens valk if you don’t interact. I also run kazemon to hybrid over Leon and go into my 5’s for extra ultility. Would highly recommend!
Great profiles i like the second profile a bit better just cause im a shroudmon fan its a great card. Also did u see the new tyrannomon support we might be getting closer to a full tyranno / dino deck! Also new xcross cards looking great but hoping to see the new blue flare stuff soon just thinking we will have new blue flare cause new xcross cards mention blue flare. Also dont know if im just imagining things but the audio sounded a bit quiet (might just be me tho) Anyways thnxs for the profiles!
Ah, cheers! Yeah, I love Shroudmon too. I'm definitely more excited by the Takemikazuchi version though. I have indeed seen the new Tyrannomon support and I am 100% here for it. Tyrannomon has needed a bit of a face lift for a while and the new support looks great. My only gripe is that Dinomon doesn't have Tyrannomon in it's name or a rule text to treat it as Tyrannomon. If it did, the old BT2 Taiga would still be really good as it gives all the Tyrannomon piercing. I know Charles will be very excited for any Blue Flare support so hopefully you both get your wish! If the was quiet it may be because I have swapped mic cables as the old one was causing a hum. Now that I've changed cables, I can mess around with the DB of the audio so it should be easily fixed.
Nice profile's my man! I will for sure be playing dia without the clock card lets just be honest 1 ends up in the trash and all 4 cards are pointless. Also yea UK screwed again thnxs to a shit distributor honestly i hope they get their shit in line its just so disappointing ordering a couple boxes get all excited to sit down and rip them open and then asmodee goes ' whoaaa there lads and lasses no boxes for any of u till another week'. Any recs for swapping out bt17 greymon and the 5th metalgar (think its bt15?). I just dont have the cards lol everything else is in the mail but i forgot about the white greymon.
Hard to say. The MetalGarurumon is hard to substitute. You could maybe try the old BT5 one for the inheritable but you lose the back up warp from the BT15. Or maybe the Ace MetalGarurumon? Gains you memory when you play it or digivolve but then you've got more overflow to contend with. As for Greymon, you could maybe go for BT12 Greymon so that you can play the tamers? Again, tricky to substitute as it has the deletion effect and the tamer on deletion effect.
@@jaydblerd4360 Yeah, it's really gone up. I think maybe because a lot of people didn't open BT15 in the end? I managed to get one for about £18.00 and that was on what we call "mates rates" in the UK.
Interesting. I'm only running the 1x Omnimon X and no alter-b, of course I don't have Alter-B. Tamer wise I only went 2x Tai & Kari, with 2x St15 Tai. Also have a full set of BT12 Agumon and one more BT14 Wargreymon.
In testing the new Bt17 Greymon works amazing in AguBond! But admittedly not that great in Greymon Tribal as being a stack based you really dont want it in back. And out in the front youd only be able to evo it up on a searcher you dropped so itll likely only have +1k from the bt12 Agu you dropped so itll only pop 6k which ..isnt bad...but misses out on not having Koromons 3k boost. And then you are locked into only evoing it into Bt12 MGM as no other (MGX9,11, Bt8) can evo off of it since its White. Only St15 MGM and Bt14 Ace are your only valid target and we know those arent ideal in tribal builds. So a 6k pop is nice at times..getting another search from AguX ontop is admittedly nice but i just dont think its fully worth it. If you decided to run Bt17 Greymon i definitely wouldn't add it in the OTK variant. It has potentially utility in Toolbox or BWG.
Yeah! I can't wait to try it in AguBond. Such a shame we're not getting the Ace until December. Really want to experiment with the BT17 one in tribal but, I agree, it's not great for the consistency.
@DUDigimon See, here's where I disagree! It's perfect for digivolving. So let's say you set up with an Agumon in the back. You promote into the field of play and then digivolve into the White greymon. You then use an Agumon, or Agumon X in your hand, and digivolve off the 'Koromon' you have just digivolved into. You can then proceed to go up the line with an extra body for fodder for the X-Antibody protection. As a two of it's great, and can get you a 9-10k clearance early game.
@@kyletucker3811 the issue there is the push out. With how fast the game is now the stack you start with in back has to be your committed stack so having it saved for the bt17 play isn't worth it imo unless you're playing midrange Toolbox. Plus now you're wasting resources on a stack that'll likely be killed. Again I could eat my words and end up loving it in Tribal but from my testing already I much prefer just keeping a St1 Grey in back and building up to promote as a MGM when it's go time. In theory Bt17 Grey sounds amazing but when you realize how situational it is to climb up after it gets awkward (unless it's your promoted stack as it'll benefit from the Koro and being treated as such with the ability to evo into even a normal Agumon. Otherwise you're locked into AguX, Bt12 MetalGrey and Bt14 WarGreymon as a Warp for evo targets after.
Thankfully my locals in the UK actually manged to get BT17 in stock so ive manged to get all the cards i wanted, heres hoping the stock comes in fast for the rest of uk.
@@DUDigimon I've played a few games with the omnimon deck so far really enjoying how it works, im hoping to see a dexdorugoramon deck or a gallantmon deck profile in the future from you as I've had a hard time working out the ratios with gallantmon and would like to see your opinion on the new support, as well with dexdorugoramon while I want to use the Dorumon cards as a base, the loogamon base with the eiji tamers definitely offer better consistency and with the new egg you can digivolve into your dorugamons from trash so theirs no worry in trashing any cards, but anyhow keep it up love the videos.

We can certainly have a look at those, our resident Gallant players haven't been as keen to go into Gallant again now that we're not getting Megidramon till December so I might have a go myself! I know one of our team members is making the Dex deck so I'll have a chat with him :)
I haven't seen the actual matches yet but can i just say i find it a bit wierd the pack open sim doesnt pop out proper packs with i do think is not completely fair cause ur missing out on a lot of rares here which could be super usefull. Lets be honest ur already going junk deck vs mostly meta decks and then also missing out on a load of rares its just really harsh.
Yeah, got super unlucky on this one. Annoyingly, this was the second time I filmed episode 2 and the pack opening before was GOATed. Pulled multiple secret rares lots of really good stuff. Definitely felt like quantity over quality in the pack opening that made it to film. Hopefully, next time will be better.
