Thanks babe! 🫶🏽 I just use the flat iron to straighten my hair. I’m all natural, no chemicals it’s all in your technique. I have seen 4c girlies with bone straight hair so I know it’s possible. 🤍🤎
Secure employment and then apply for housing. Make sure you have a little cash saved up to cover 1st month’s rent, security deposit, possible cost of utilities and your moving expenses. It may seem overwhelming but once you secure employment, everything else will be easy. Good luck girlie 🤍🤎
I moved to Houston this summer without a job, house (stayed at motel), car (rented a car), nor family or friends after 18 years living in Germany. Within 22 days, by the grace and glory of God, I had a job, bought a car, and leased an apartment. Wasn't easy, and I am still finding my footing here, but I am starting to like it. If I did it, I know you can. There are jobs out here, and plenty of opportunities. The only shot you are guaranteed to not make is the one you don't take. Bless! Wait. So once you do the silk press, do you just continuously wrap it. And style it each day? Genuinely just asking cause I’m thinking about doing this.😅 oh and plus. How do you bathe with it. Just a normal head cap?
Yes to the first question about wrapping and styling. For bathing I wrap in two scarves and then a plastic shower cap. ** TIP ** Wash what you need to wash and get outta there 😅 If you want it to last, you may want to take cool temp showers. Silk presses are not forgiving. Once humidity enters the chat 💬 it’s over 🤣
