A visitor? Hmm, indeed. I have slept long enough. The kingdom of heaven has long since forgotten my name. However. The blood of Minos stains your hands, and i must admit. I am curious about your skills, weapon
Thanks for your video! Just found this plant growing in a parking lot in Sweden! 😮 Didn't recognize it so I pinched off a bit and looked it up... which led me to your video. Now I've got the shoot in water for propagation. Summer will be over far too soon, so I plan to keep it indoors until next spring. Wondering whether it will survive (and retain its handsome appearance through) a zone 6-7 winter. I will give it a try. 😊
I have been searching for help with a dracaena I bought from a grocery store. It was in ROUGH shape when I got it (brown tips everywhere) but the coloring was incredible so I HAD to get it! Mine is a beautiful green with a large white stripe in the middle. I wish I could show you a picture. I have asked plant groups for help and they just are not helping me. I cut the brown parts off the leaf when I first got it. I re-potted it in a chunky soil that I make (with pon, pumice, perlite, bark, charcoal and soil. The brown crispy leaves are continuing. I was told to water with distilled water so I do. I gave it miracle grow plant food once (in may) and water twice a week because that is what it seems to need. I have it in my office that does not have AC but in my location it only gets to MAYBE 92 each day. Humidity is about 37%-40%. Like I said the brown is just growing more. What should I do? This plant is too gorgeous to not make it. I havent seen any other dracaena with this beautiful of variegation! Please help!
Google says "The genus Osteospermum was named by Carl Linnaeus in 1753" and refers to the very hard seed. Thanks for your information, I will know to take them in over Winter!
Nice video. Just bought some deep blue here on the East Coast to see how the hummingbirds might like it. Always heard about Larkspur and Deophiniums. This is the first time I've tried to grow it. Fits nicely with the Butterfly Bush and the Bee Balm... Gorgeous coloration. Thank you for sharing the info... Peace Love and Woodstock..
Hello, I was given a Monkey Puzzle Tree for my birthday this past May as I have always wanted one. It is in a 2 gallon pot and growing like crazy so far. I like in Westchester County, New York, 45 mins north of NYC. I really want to plant it in my garden but fear that the winter may be too cold. I can find a sheltered spot for it if I do put it in the ground. Any insight? I can keep it in a pot but have no idea if it will be happy indoors through the winter. Thanks for any help!
I found blooms on mine today !! Many. It's about 8 in. high and doing very well. Its growing under a grow light . It's in a self watering container and its so pretty.
I bought a Guzmania on clearence in a mall just to save her. She already bloomed and the flower part is cut off but she has no pups atm. Can anybody share some thoughts on how should I proceed? Should I keep her and hope for the pup? Or is she gonna go yellow before a pup happens? Thank you!
Thank you! I couldn't seem to find great info about this plant anywhere, even on the product page I bought it from. Your video had everything I needed! Happy growing.
Thank you for sharing all these useful tips - I will not eat mine, that's for sure! I just got mine today and placed it next to my Selenicereus anthonyanus. Still looking for a Weberocereus imitans as well because I find these three very funny: looking totally alike but not close relatives at all - according to wikipedia.
Do you know a lot about these? Forgive me if you don’t know the answer. I have one growing right against my house. It is too close and growing into my soffit. I love it, but i need some aggressive pruning or i will have to get rid of it altogether. Can i top it and shape it or do they not respond well to main trunk cutting? Thanks.
I was just gifted this plant. I think it's so fascinating & wonky. I had no idea they produced fruit, how cool. While I am an experienced Hoya/ Philodendron mama, I have zero experience with cacti. I'm sure this with help, thank you! 💕🌵
Hi Max, I'm a novice gardener with a love of hummingbirds and diverse insects. I purchased two dipladenia plants and want to plant them in our yard. Our growing zone is 7-9 with clay soil. My question: do you recommend digging and filling with sandy soil? Or would you recommend something else. Thank you so much for the video! 😊
There is a monkey puzzle tree in the famous Capital grounds of the state capitol in Sacramento, California. I'm guessing its about 50 feet tall. Juat a gorgeous specimen. I grew one in my Sacramento area backyard for 6 years in a huge gardening pot through the worst drought California ever has faced (it lasted 13-14 years). Kept the tree alive on a drip system and moved it to the shade to survive the 105+ degree heat. It lasted until we moved to France. I have no idea what became of it. It was glorious, elegant, full of character and tough as nails. Thanks for sharing this video. Does anyone know where one can buy seeds from Chile for the MPT, the delicious wild baby pears, and other fascinating foods and plants? Thanks if you have any ideas or suggestions.
In semi-sun I’ve a Bartzelle which I started 3 years ago from a small root. It has not bloomed yet the plant is lush and healthy. Glad I found this video, I will keep waiting and be patient, instead I was thinking moving it to a more sunny spot
