So m&s veg and fruit have dates called j codes which is the date it says plus 1 day so usually in bottom corner is 1J2309 which means expires on 23 september +1 so the 24th if that makes sense

Most supermarkets don’t put expiry dates on fruit and veg anymore ! (decreases wastage I guess bc people won’t just throw things away even if it would still be okay to use because it’s ‘expired’)
