NARS Take Me Home was once a perfect light peachy pink option… did the color change? Did they just not send it? I love and still use one I bought years ago. Was thinking of buying a new one on sale, but I’m not sure now.
I'm looking for foundations that have more cool to neutral tones. Are the colors you are using more warm or cool? I find 90% of makeups I try have a yellowy base that make me look ashy and sick.
This blush technique looks good on you. I tried it today and don’t think it suited the shape of my face. 😞I think I will go back to the lifted look blush technique.
Hello Stephanie I need your advice Can you please recommend a concealer for male to hide red spots like acne for oily skin i have medium skin tone, not fair or dark I need something simple to use alone without any other product that can hide any red breakout without looking like I am wearing makeup
Hi! I love NARS Soft Matte Complete concealer for my face. It works great on normal to oily skin. A tiny bit goes a long way. I apply the smallest bit with my small white elf concealer brush that’s like $2-3 and blend around the edges. To really lock it in place (esp if it’s hot outside) you may want to gently press a very sheer translucent powder over just that spot 💗
If you want your face to look less oblong it seems to help to leave a gap between cheek and ear that’s straight and wider-more distinct and less blended. At least that’s what I see.
It's so funny because Risa ADORES this foundation! Of course I will always love Risa's videos, but on this one, I agree with YOU Stephanie, I'll pass! 😘
Well...Ummm....Nah. I have supper high cheek bones & I've got a natural contour. When I was younger I had more full cheeks. That would have been fine to do. At 75, I've had to tailer my make up application for my age.
This and the Sephora matte skin tint were my ride or die products. And I’m on my last tube of the Sephora. Both are discontinued. Please do an updated video on skin tints! Also combo skin in humid climate and trying to save money since the last 4 foundations I’ve tested do not compare to my holy grails. 😢
I put my bronzer higher now that I’m older, but I always keep my blush around the apples of my cheeks and a little outward. I had a thin face before aging and now that I’ve lost a lot of volume a high blush placement doesn’t suit me like this more “boyfriend” approach does. I need the look of volume to my face. Trends are fun, but I place my makeup where it looks best on my particular face shape. I thinks it’s great that you show the trends on more mature people!
The founder of RMS beauty applies blush & bronzer similarly. Across the face/nose but never below the nose. That’s where the sun naturally hits our faces and it looks beautiful. I like the look. It “fills out” the face.
Elf always looked like they were duping nars products from the start.. the first packaging of elf products were identical to Nars yrs ago.. ❤ I love elf products so much..my dream present is the hourglass face palette and the Makeup forever palette in light..my birthday is coming up going to put these on my wishlist ❤
I never ever comment but I had to come back to this video because I just received the Ledda perfume in the mail you recommended. It’s amazing! Seriously, there are only two perfumes on this planet I really like and they are both by Byredo. I think I found a third. Love it!
First side, but you look lovely either way! I've been doing my blush like this forever, though (like this, and also the "summer beach glow" that was popular a few years ago). I just like it better (than the "suck in the cheeks" blush method placement 😄🤔). I do love it when makeup tends are "rediscovered!"
Stephanie this looks good on you. I just tried an RMS technique that Jen Phelps has on her site, take a look. I’m 63, tried it today and I really like it. (Also for bronzer).
I like your right side better (the first one you applied first). Actually that's how I've been applying my blush for the longest time. I don't bring it close to the nose.
Hi Stephanie Marie! I’m surprised that I actually like this placement on you! 😍 I half expected it to look a bit dated. But I think the placement suits your face shape. But maybe just a smidge higher would be perfect 👍🏻 love from the Uk 🇬🇧 xxx
Mmm no, not for me, I always cover my redness which is exactly like Harry and William. I like blush higher up on my cheekbones to lift my face as I have jowls much more pronounced than yours because of my square face shape so this new trend would drag my face down even more.
i didnt like the trend at all on others when you showed pictures of various celebrities but I was surprised at how great it looks on you! really nice, do you think it's because of your face shape? It's extremely complimentary and you look beautiful ❤
I like this, but I like the softer side a little better as it looks like a natural flush after a day of skiing for example. I think it would look ok on an older lady unless there is too much fat loss in the cheeks. Might make the hollowness appear more pronounced. Overall, very pretty.
You're beautiful and the color is pretty, but it looks like makeup to me, not a healthy natural flush, which would be the look I'd go for (over 60). I in no way intend this in a mean way, and thanks for the video!
