With my homespun 2 ply wool yarn, I wound seven yards and ended up with a few inches under five yards after all the warp waste, fulling and dyeing. I knew cotton shrinks (relaxes) and wool shrinks a lot more. I wound 32 yarn at a time then chained them for the 320 ends on my warp.
Thank you for making this video!! We found a Minerva Loom in someone's garbage heap! It's our new treasure. My husband and I watched many videos but this one was so valuable to dress our loom. It helped immensely!! It took us three days and a few meltdowns but we persevered. :)
I could not find my written-down crochet pattern but this was the easiest explanation. This sitch is wonderful it makes the edges of any project or what ever you are working on so beautiful. I have used it in so many ways in the past. Thank you for sharing this with us,
