I attended Ivywild grade school from 1959 thru 1964. My sixth grade teacher was Mrs. Durge. She was a big baseball fan and allowed us to watch the World Series that year. I'm now 72 years old and live in Fort Morgan Colorado.

I think the cons would depend on where you're coming from! We have more of a 'city' feel than most people realize, and maybe the wind during spring💨 There's so many pros like the weather, proximity to hiking & things to do/Denver, and of course the views ;)

nice. i was just in manitou at the end of may the day after the big snow storm. i stayed at the magnuson hotel. it was the perfect distance to everything i wanted to do. i walked to the incline and hiked up it, was very challenging. did pikes peak highway, the tram up and 5 days of hiking at the garden of the gods and much more i did. i want to go back so bad.
Thanks for posting these. I'm headed to Col Springs Late Oct till end of Nov of this year and excited to try out the local grub and biers. I haven't been there since the early 90's when I was stationed in Denver so I know a lot has changed since then.
