Welcome to MathsofOrigami 😀 This is a channel where I make origami videos related to math for myself and others who are interested in origami. I hope you have a good time here.
About me: I'm a mathematician, I study theoretical mathematics. I do like Modular Origami.
Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about … don't limit your creativity to making art, using your art in your life is also an expression of creativity … you put energy into it when you created it, now let it return that energy … it can fortify you and bring inspiration you have not yet tapped
I've made a few of these and I love it! Is there an easy, mathematic way to calculate the total number of pieces if I want to create a tomoko fuse ball with more pieces? Since this one is 30 pieces, would the next increment be 60 pieces, 90 pieces, and so onward? Thank you so much!
Thank you!! yes, there are so many options on my channel, it depends on the faces of the polyhedron, faces and the number of vertices define the number of pieces 🥰🥰
@sarah-jettsmith3448 thanks a lot🥰 with a little thick paper, it holds really tight. points into the pockets, this model’s pockets are deep that is why it holds tight🥰🥰
any other paper works. but with very thin paper you may need glue🥰sorry for my late reply, I realized that my notifications were off. I open the notifications to see the messages now.
