Hi there, yes there's slight difference in this and other screen from back some are flat some have a console type box, you can cut the top bar with a cutter it will slice it like butter.
If you don't have car stands, put the wheel under the chassis rail in case the jack fails. Put at least a bit of cloth over the open brake fluid reservoir. You really don't want any junk falling in there. A bit of brake grease on those tangs of the new pads goes a long way to quiet and smooth operation. Tighten wheel nuts in a star configuration (pick one, then tighten the furthest from it next.) Great video, thanks.
@@asadfirm0001 but how because I saw in another video the videocable is attached to the big plug at the backside of the radio. It's not a normal vca cable
Excellent! Thank you. Great tip. I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. It is exactly the same. I replaced the broken plastic for a bolt and it works like a charm. Thanks again.😊
I watched somewhere around 10 videos before i found this one. This is the best video by far yet. Easy to see what's happening and very well explained. Thanks a lot. You saved me a trip to the mechanic 👍
No it won't, same thing as using a clamp to push it back, but we show simplest way possible rather than using tools that may be impossible to find in other places.
@@asadfirm0001Ok cool. Yea I think I'll rather use a g-clamp and the old break pad to push them back in. I definitely see this method is simpler, but knowing me, I'd probably end up scratching or damaging something in there. ;-)
@@asadfirm0001 yeah when I start the car it’s a rough start and the engine is all shaky turned off once week ago smells like oil and from what I seen on other yt I might be a blown gasket and that’s like 1000-3000 to fix and one of my cylinders ignition sticks broke in half so I took the part that was inside out with tweezers no I’m not gonna be able to drive it unless I buy more but ik it’s more problems to know
@KevinCastro_mma that's really bad news... Worse thing to happen to the car..you might have been driving the car with this oil leak for a while now... Hopefully gets fixed 🙌🏻
Thankyou so much, I never realised that I could keep the engine running to retain the radio, clock & bluetooth settings. This saved a large amount of time on the change over.
it would be smart to use proper tools like brake piston compressor tool, rubber hammer and brake cleaner spray to clean the brake parts before installing new brake pads. And clean the engine bay before taking this video tutorial.
