Liebe Marion,, ich kann es bei jedem Video immer wieder schreiben, ihr habt so wundervolle Momente eingefangen und die stimmige Musik. Man merkt es euch absolut an, wie sehr ihr euch mit den Störchen verbunden fühlt und in dem Zusammenhang auch mit Der Storchenstation in Erfde. Ich war am vergangenen Montag so dankbar, daß ich einen ausgedehnten Einblick in die Storchenstation bekommen habe, dank an Stephan🌹. Vor allen die kleinen Jungtiere unterschiedlichen Alters. Wie das kleinste geklappert hat, einfach unbeschreiblich, soetwasvor Ort zu sehen. VIELEN DANK an euch für das schöne Video. Und die Einladung hat weiter Bestand ins Cafe Adebar. Stork rescue in Erfde The year 2023 was a successful breeding year for the storks up here in Germany's northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein. 485 pairs of storks have now settled in the far north. The curve of new settlements is rising steadily every year. These are encouraging figures when you look back at the sad year of 2005, for example. That year there were only 170 pairs of storks in the whole of Schleswig-Holstein. But there was also a pleasing number of offspring to report in 2023. There were 786 young storks that set off on the long journey south at the end of the summer. A great result! But - these are by no means all the stork children that grew up here! Because the young storks that grow up in the care of care stations are not included in the official breeding statistics. But these stork children grow up, move to the south in the same way, settle again and later have offspring! They therefore also ensure the preservation of the stork population, just like their siblings. So today we would like to take a look back with you, filled with great gratitude, at the Erfde stork care station, which is intended to represent all animal rescue stations in Schleswig-Holstein. Because here too, a successful year has been behind everyone involved. There was a lot of work to be done, day after day. In addition to the 5 permanent guests, who are between 3 and 7 years old and have a permanent home in the care station due to their inability to fly, an incredible 40 stork children were raised! All of them were hungry and needed care and attention! This was a big logistical and strenuous undertaking for Stephan and his family, which they mastered with flying colors! In addition to the stork children, sick and injured storks were also nursed back to health. Every day was a new challenge! Whether it was abandoned clutches of egs that went into the incubator or rejected and abandoned stork chicks, for example, they were all cared for lovingly and with great professional competence. The little storks are initially cared for in Struves' private house, because they have to be fed every two to three hours. The little helpless stork children are then divided up according to size and placed in mobile stork nests. What are mobile stork nests, you might ask yourself, it's quite simple - they are wheelbarrows that are lined with soft hay and thus provide a cozy nest for the little ones. When the weather is nice, the little "wheelbarrow children" are even allowed out into the garden to get some fresh air. Isn't that a great idea and so practical! 😀 For the bigger storks, there is a cozy stable with soft straw where they can sleep peacefully. The stork children spend their first weeks of life here before they go to the spacious grounds of the actual stork care station - to become independent, because that is the big goal. The fantastic successes achieved in Erfde have already spread beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein and the connection extends as far as Denmark. Stork chicks from the stork father Jürgen Pelch regularly come for example from Hamburg for further care. Last year, Mr. Pelch brought 6 stork chicks to Erfde. Among them were 5 small storks from the transmitter stork Mimi, who was unfortunately found dead next to her children in the nest. In Erfde, they became independent and grew into beautiful, strong young storks, all of which flew south with the others at the end of the summer. In total, Stephan and his team looked after 70 storks. During peak times, up to 50 kilos of fish were fed to them every day, which Stephan was generously supplied with by the surrounding fishing clubs. Everything had to be laboriously sawn into small pieces beforehand. The lawn at the stork care station was literally white, full of storks that became independent here and finally left for the south at the end of the summer. A small group of 8 storks remained,who were still too young they overwintered in this rainy, stormy and wet and cold winter, protected and safe in an outdoor aviary with an adjoining stable. Záchrana čápů v Erfde💕 Rok 2023 byl pro čápy zde nahoře v nejsevernější německé spolkové zemi Šlesvicko-Holštýnsko úspěšným rozmnožovacím rokem. Na dalekém severu se nyní usadilo 485 čápů. Nová křivka vypořádání každým rokem dále stoupá. To jsou povzbudivá čísla, když se ohlédnete například za smutným rokem 2005. V celém Šlesvicku-Holštýnsku letos zůstalo jen 170 párů čápů. Ale byla také povzbudivá čísla, která mají být hlášena pro potomky v roce 2023. Na dlouhou cestu na jih se koncem léta vydalo 786 mladých čápů. Skvělá bilance! Jenže - to zdaleka nejsou všechny čapí děti, které zde vyrostly! Mláďata čápů, kteří vyrůstají v péči stanic péče o zvířata, nejsou zahrnuta v oficiálních statistikách chovu. Ale tyto čapí děti vyrostou, stěhují se na jih, přesídlují a později mají potomky! Zajišťují také zachování čapí populace, stejně jako jejich sourozenci. Dnes bychom se tedy s vámi rádi s velkou vděčností ohlédli do stanice péče o čápy Erfde, která má být reprezentativní pro všechny záchranné stanice pro zvířata ve Šlesvicku-Holštýnsku. Protože i zde mají všichni zúčastnění za sebou úspěšný rok. Den za dnem bylo potřeba udělat spoustu práce. Kromě 5 stálých hostů, kterým je od 3 až 7 let a mají trvalý domov v pečovatelském zařízení z důvodu neschopnosti létat. Stephan také vychoval 40 čapích dětí! Všichni měli hlad a potřebovali péči a pozornost! Pro Stephana a jeho rodinu to byl neuvěřitelně logistický a energeticky náročný podnik, který zvládli na výbornou! Kromě čapích dětí byli ošetřováni i nemocní a zranění čápi. Každý den se skládal z nových výzev! Ať už se jednalo například o opuštěné snůšky, které se dostaly do inkubátoru, nebo o odmítnutá a opuštěná čapí mláďata, o všechna bylo pečováno láskyplně a s velkou odborností. O malé čápy se zpočátku starají v Struvesově soukromém domě, protože je třeba je krmit každé dvě až tři hodiny. Malé bezmocné čapí děti jsou nakonec rozděleny podle velikosti a umístěny do mobilních čapích hnízd. Co jsou mobilní čapí hnízda, asi se zeptáte sami sebe, a to zcela jednoduše - jsou to trakaře, které jsou vystlané měkkou slámou a tvoří útulné hnízdečko pro nejmenší. Za pěkného počasí mohou malé „trakařové děti“ i na zahradu na čerstvý vzduch. Skvělý nápad a tak praktické!😀 Pro větší čápy je k dispozici útulná stáj s měkkou podložkou na seno, kde mohou klidně spát. Čapí děti zde tráví první týdny života, než odejdou do prostorného areálu vlastní čapí pečovatelské stanice - osamostatnit se, protože to je velký cíl. To, že se v Erfde dosahují fantastických úspěchů, se už rozšířilo daleko za hranice Šlesvicka-Holštýnska a spojení sahá až do Dánska. Čapí mláďata od čapího otce Jürgena Pelcha pravidelně přijíždějí z Hamburku pro další péči. V loňském roce přivezl pan Pelch do Erfde 6 čapích dětí. Mezi nimi bylo 5 malých čápů od čápa Mimi s GPS vysílačkou, která byla bohužel nalezena mrtvá v hnízdě u svých dětí. V Erfde se osamostatnili a vyrostli v krásné, silné mladé čápy, kteří všichni koncem léta odletěli s ostatními na jih. Celkem se Stephan a jeho tým postarali o 70 čápů. Ve špičce se denně krmilo až 50 kilo ryb, které Stephan štědře dostával od okolních rybářských klubů. Vše se musí předem pečlivě rozřezat na malé kousky. Trávník ve stanici péče o čápy byl doslova bílý, plný čápů, kteří se zde osamostatnili a na konci léta nakonec odešli na jih. Zůstala malá skupina 8 čápů, kteří byli ještě příliš mladí. V této deštivé, bouřlivé a vlhké zimě přezimovali chráněni a v bezpečí ve venkovní voliéře s připojenou stájí. Právě jim jsou věnovány poslední snímky ve filmu. Na jih vyrazí spolu s novou generací zachráněných dětí čápů Erfde koncem léta. Milý Stephane, milá Anke, Hilke, Regino a všem pomocným rukám bychom rádi vyjádřili naši nejhlubší úctu a vděčnost za tento úžasný úspěch, který nelze měřit zlatem. We told you that we were very lucky to be able to be part of the ringing of her offspring last year. However, for data protection reasons, we have refrained from showing film footage of it. There were simply too many children and adults there who were happy about this beautiful event in Tielen like us . However... - the ringing operation continued on the same day! Other young storks should also receive their official ELSA rings from the Helgoland bird observatory. With a rattling tractor in front and a ladder truck behind, we then drove to Erfde to provide the stork children from the Erfde stork care station with the ELSA rings on their long legs with the help of stork ringer Jörg Heyna and area ranger Regina Kolls. The path then took us near the home of our stork father Stephan and his wife Anke. Just one street corner away, an amazing and beautiful surprise was waiting for us. It was an old, no - more like a young acquaintance...! By the way, the story is closely linked to the transmitter stork Fritzi. Both storks grew up together in the Erfde stork care station in 2021. They had become very, very fond of each other during this time. Both of them overwintered in the care station because they were still too young to be released into the wild. Guidelines like those in the past, where it was said that storks become sexually mature at the earliest when they are three to four years old and finally return from the south to breed, are now outdated. Ultimately, we also owe these findings to the ringing of the storks. Sexual maturity can therefore occur much earlier. There are now countless examples of this. After all, storks are individual in their development, as can be seen from the example of Fritzi and Schlichting. But now back to the place where Schlichting's offspring were ringed. Our stork father Stephan placed the long turntable ladder on the edge of the nest. He now started the steep climb up to the nest. Schlichting waited until the last moment before he flew away. After all, Schlichting and Stephan know each other, they are neighbors too! 😉 But Schlichting was still nervous. He flew one circle after another around the nest. Since it is too dangerous to ring the bird while standing on a turntable ladder, our stork father quickly put the valuable cargo in a travel bag and brought the young stork down safely this way. The bag finally opened. We were ecstatic to see a beautiful and well-fed young stork. Now Mr. Heyna quickly placed the Elsa ring from the Heligoland Bird Observatory around the young stork's leg. The neighbor was finally allowed to close the ring as godmother. Immediately the young stork was carefully put back into the travel bag and he and Stephan went back up to the cozy nest. Shortly afterwards, stork Schlichting landed again and the offspring were no longer alone. Now peace could return to family life with the stork neighbors of our stork father from Erfde. Well, and because Schlichting and Stephan are neighbors, Schlichting also likes to visit the Struve family from time to time. Schlichting has not forgotten where he spent the first weeks of his life. Every now and then he ends up on the roof of the father stork and gets his piece of delicious fish there instead of delicious cake and coffee like we do. Vážení čapí přátelé, v minulém filmu jsme vám ukázali čápa Evu s telemetrickým vysílačem a její čapí děti od Tielenu. Řekli jsme vám, že jsme měli velké štěstí, že jsme mohli být loni součástí kroužkování jejích potomků. Z důvodu ochrany dat jsme se však zdrželi použití jakéhokoli filmového materiálu. Bylo prostě příliš mnoho dětí a dospělých, kteří si tuto krásnou akci v Tielenu užili stejně jako my. Nicméně... - proces zvonění pokračoval ještě tentýž den! Ostatní mladí čápi by také měli dostat své oficiální prsteny ELSA z Ptačí observatoř Helgoland. S drnčícím traktorem vpředu a otočným žebříkem vzadu jsme zajeli do Erfde, abychom mladým čápům na čapí stanici Erfde předali ELSA kroužky za jejich dlouhé nohy za pomoci čapího kroužkaře Jörga Heyny a oblastní strážkyně Reginy Kolls. Cesta nás pak zavedla poblíž domu našeho čapího otce Stephana a jeho ženy Anke. Hned za rohem nás čekalo nádherné a krásné překvapení. Byl to starý - ne, spíš mladý známý...! Mimochodem, příběh je úzce spjat s čápem Fritzim s telemetrickým vysílačem. Oba čápi spolu vyrostli ve stanici péče o čápy v Erfde v roce 2021. Během této doby se navzájem velmi, velmi milovali. Oba přezimovali ve stanici péče o čápy, protože byli ještě příliš mladí na vypuštění do přírody. Mladí čápi museli trpělivě čekat do jara 2022, než si našli cestu do samostatného života. Ani to nechci dělat příliš vzrušující. Ale stále je těžké uvěřit, kdo byl na vrcholu hnízda a měl vlastně potomka - Tarra - byl to čáp Schlichting!😃 Zatímco Fritzi vloni trvalo dlouho, než našla cestu domů z Francie a nakonec 27. dubna 2023 šťastně přistála v Erfde, Schlichting ěl již delší dobu plné ruce práce s chovem svého prvního potomkaa to v pouhých dvou letech ! I tato skutečnost ukazuje, že čápi se nyní mohou rozmnožovat mnohem dříve, než se očekávalo. Staré směrnice, podle kterých by čápi neměli pohlavně dospívat nejdříve ve věku tří až čtyř let a nakonec by se měli vrátit z jihu k rozmnožování, jsou dnes již zastaralé. V konečném důsledku za tato zjištění vděčíme i kroužkování čápů. Nyní existuje nespočet příkladů. Protože čápi jsou ve svém vývoji individuální, jak ukazuje příklad Fritziho a Schlichtinga. Nyní zpět k místu, kde Schlichtingův potomek získal ELSA prsten. Náš čapí otec Stephan připevnil na okraj hnízda dlouhý otočný žebřík. Nyní začal strmý výstup k hnízdu. Schlichting čekal do poslední chvíle, než odletěl. Schlichting a Stephan se přece znají, jsou to také sousedé! 😉 Ale Schlichting byl stále nervózní. Kolem hnízda létal jednu smyčku za druhou. Protože je příliš nebezpečné kroužit na ptáka na žebříku, náš čapí otec rychle zabalil cenný náklad do cestovní tašky a mladého čápa bezpečně snesl dolů. Nakonec se taška otevřela. Byli jsme nadšeni pohledem na krásné a dobře živené mladé čápa. Nyní pan Heyna rychle umístil prsten ELSA z Ptačí observatoř Helgoland kolem nohy mladého čápa. Nakonec směla sousedka zavřít prsten jako kmotra. Mládě čápa okamžitě opatrně umístili zpět do cestovní tašky a Stephan přivezl mladého čápa zpět do útulného hnízda. Krátce poté na hnízdo přistál čáp Schlichting a potomci už nebyli sami. Nyní by se do rodinného života mohl vrátit mír pro sousedy našeho otce čápa z Erfde. Nyní, když jsou Schlichting a Stephan sousedé, Schlichting také rád čas od času navštěvuje rodinu Struveových. Schlichting nezapomněl, kde strávil první týdny svého života.Tu a tam skončí na čapí otcově střeše a místo výborného dortu a kávy jako my dostane svůj kousek výborné ryby. Jak je ve filmu vidět, Schlichting mu náležitě děkuje hlasitým mlaskáním.😁 Nyní přejeme milé čapí rodince hodně štěstí do budoucna. Všem zúčastněným bychom chtěli z celého srdce poděkovat za to, že Schlichting umožnili přežít a mít nyní dokonce i vlastní rodinu. Děkuji moc za vše💐💕
