Neat, thanks! I recently 3D-printed a spirograph from my childhood, and am enjoying mapping the results to the number of teeth on the wheel, and which hole I put the pen in. Looping back with more knowledge! :)
I really like how you make these drawings seem so easy. If I slow the video down to half speed, and stop where I need to as I'm following you, I can make my drawings look almost as good as yours. Thank you for drawing them with that huge marker, too. I have several of those, but haven't yet used them for drawing. I think I'll start doing that, at least while I'm learning each pattern, so I can see more readily where to place the lines. Also, that wooden surface you use---table?---is absolutely spectacular! Someone is an excellent craftsman to have made that beautiful surface!

Ganz lieben Dank :-) Bei kyrica handelt es sich um ein sogenanntes "high focus tangle". Da muss man sich beim Zeichnen wirklich konzentrieren, und bis diese Muster so aussehen, wie man sich das vorstellt, dauert es oft eine ganze Weile. Das ist bei mir auch nicht anders ;-) Aber die Mühe lohnt sich. Wenn man es mal kann, macht das Zeichnen großen Spaß und geht tatsächlich leicht von der Hand. Die Band-Variante von kyrica ist übrigens etwas einfacher zu zeichnen. Da muss man schonmal nicht darauf achten, die einzelnen Stränge gleich dick zu zeichnen.
