Very nice and much appreciated. Where do you live & what types of fish do you catch, please ? From New Mexico USA . Trout fishing , cat fish , walleye .
I have no confidence at all in this connection knot, even though I know guides and pros who rely on it. Maybe it’s because I first tried it with Fireline. I’ve tied uni knots for 40+ years, so it’s not as if my technique is faulty… Nowadays, I use the FG when I set up ahead of time, the improved Alberto (see Tackle Advisor), or occasionally the blood knot with better success. Still, this knot works for many anglers and is worth knowing.
What is the best connection to use when your working with like light lines ( 6 - 15lb line and leader ) ? What is the best way to connect them as you cannot really pull them tight without snapping the light line 🥺 When I do bigger stuff its fine but my ultra light for the little rainbows in the stocked ponds around me I just have trouble with putting on a leader and getting it to lock down I either snap the line in my hands or they don't lock in and I just pull them through without them holding
Anglers complaining this takes too long and too complicated, dude just do the knot before going fishing during maintenances of your fishing gears, saves you a ton of time. LOL
I do a Bimini on the braid first, then the Yucatan, about 7 turns for 40lb braid. One or two more turns for thinner braid, vice versa with one less turn for 80lb.
This looks like the FG knot. Which for the life of me, I can’t get right. It always comes loose or not tight enough. I’ve been using the Albright knot but been giving me issues lately. Will try this one today at home before going out
это соединение никак не сравнится с без узловкой из лески!!! Причина этого красисивого и бесталкового соединение очень реский изгиб шнура! Вот так както!
