I'm probably going to get a lot of flack but I don't think Mary is in the wrong and I say this is someone who thinks that Mary has pulled a lot of crap. 1. Mary is not a mind reader. She didn't know what was going on with George's job. He had to be the one who tells her. 2. Sheldon is a child amoung adults, yes college is for adults, and she's right there could be alcoholic beverages there and I don't really agree with George's response. I've seen that episode of The Big Bang Theory where he got blasted drunk with Bernadette's dad and it didn't take much to convince him to partake (in fact, it wouldn't surprise me if reason Sheldon doesn't indulge very much is because He knows he's probably an alcholic waiting to happen due to his genes). I know I wouldn't want my child in a situation like that. Sheldon only seems to be going to college in person because it was the only option at the time. If this was 2024, he'd probably just be attending virtually. 3 she's legitimately exhausted, being a mother to 3 kids is a burden. 4. When it came down it to it she empathizedand didn't dismiss George out of hand when he told her what was going on.
That's wild, I know that one person could bring down the collective average of the entire School. On the ISTEP test there are five answers in a separate booklet from the actual questions. You have to fill in the bubble for every question but the fifth answer there's nothing there it's just for if you want to skip that question for now so you can go back and think about it longer and see if you can come up with the right answer after you've completed the other answers in that section. What I did is I filled out the 5th answer for every single question. I got every single question wrong on purpose. The school teachers were sooooo pissed at me. The next year they didn't even let me take the test, told me not to show up for the next four or five days😂😂😂 Long story short I got my GED in the army. That all happened back and forth grade. It was later put in my permanent record, that I did that. So there was literally a teacher right next to me watching me take the test to make sure I wasn't doing that again while I was in high school.
What's more embarrasing? That Georgie heard his brother speak through the system and he'll get made fun of for having a weird brother. Or that Georgie isn't even clever enough to say everything he said and he'll get bullied for being dumber than him
Honestly this scene highlights on of George Sr's mistakes as a parent. Despite loving his kids, and trying to do the best for them, he always underestimates them, and what they are capable of. Georgie might not have the classic raw intelligence to be a doctor like Sheldon has, but he is absolutely smart enough to have a job where he needs a beeper. This kid has shown time and time again, he knows how to make money. And you know what? If Georgie WAS a weed dealer, he'd probably be the best dealer out there. You'd get 30g in your "ounce", no seeds, a great high, and delivery within the hour.
