Zeus and Poseidon seem to be super super popular picks. Though I've heard they're both just kinda cracked. Also yeah the Troll special hitbox is large and it gets larger with the Cave Troll upgrade- it's honestly such a useful unit now, they got a crazy glow-up in Retold
Having farms is pretty useful and always beneficial thus when you are close to the mid game, you should atleast have 2 full farms, IE, your granery and town center are surrounded in farm patches.
They’ve added a lot of really good features that I haven’t seen in an RTS before. They have to improve the way you lure boars. It’s so stupid right now. They also need a drop off resources button like AOE2 just implemented, it’s Fkn awesome.
Said it before will say it again this game will never be mythologicaly accurate until they add god orgy cutscenes, and no pixilation for full immersiveness
I think pegasus should either be nerfed significantly or be completly removed from the game. The fact that odin has 2 ravens and they were cosidered op enough to be nerfed, but greeks can freelly build as many peg as they want at an extremely low cost if not for free just blows my mind.
well odin's ravens are for free and pegasus still costy supply and rescources it's a worthy trade of so removing them seems to hard but the upgrade of hermes is overpowered +6LOS+20%speed and respawn for free? and that for only 50gold and 3favor is insane honestly even only +3LOS+20%speed or respawn+20%speed would be still a really powerful upgrade
I used to be a posie main. Now i play zeus. They removed heteroi building damage and made them fort only. Meanwhile hera spawns free myrmadons. Zeus is my new late game attrition victory. Rip heteroi tho, seige weapons on horseback.

Just que up two ai to fight each other and bet on one of them then you have achieved the goal of auto everything and dont have to play the game anymore
Dwarves gather gold at 1.01/second Villagers gather gold at .81/second Almost negligible if you're only playing to the 3rd age. The difference is about 240 gold in 20 minutes.
i know they better player then me but if u have resources u have to spend we dont need inflation here. just spend if u dont wanna age up early then u can win fight. imagine couple throwing axeman there :(
love the ban system cause no offense to someone that is like this, but being a monogod/monostrat player in a tournament is just boring to watch overtime
nice video @mooseaom, im wondering for these qualifier / ranked(?) games, are they blind or draft pick? i.e. does TheMista see the Oranos pick and counter with Greek?
thanks, these were draft pick but with a blind pick before the game. So they knew which gods were possible but not the exact one their opponent would pick. For ranked it's blind pick.
@@kria008 i doubt the ethics in this game goes that far. It would be the same as raiding vills in gold mines. If i had the skills to take care of enemy hunt i would go for it... its so much to handle that at least for me is overwhelming
