You know, trends are changing and some clients are opting for less open living. Sometimes it's nice to have some separation between the kitchen and living areas. It will be interesting to watch this trend. Thanks for watching!
Nice home BUT PLEASE: Your camera work makes one feel like they are on the Titanic! With all your swooshes and pans and close up shots of refrigerator logos and cabinet handles. Please purchas a handheld Gimble or other device which attaches to the camera and makes your shots smooth like a steadicam. It will stop making viewers seasick. You are better served to use just wide shots and medium shots -- viewers just want to get an overview of the shole house. If they are interested, they will come tour the home, that's when they can look closely at door knobs, cabinet handles and refrigerator logos.
I think it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Builder did a fantastic job -- love the layout -- REALLY love the huge pantry!! Someone's going to get themselves one HELL of a nice home!!
Love the dark kitchen cabinetry , only disappointing feature is the split sink. Much rather prefer one large sink. Primary bathroom is a great size but very stark and boring white.
How interesting! I love a double/split sink -- but that's what I've always had. Who knows maybe a single large sink is the way to go?! Thanks for watching!!
Lovely home, but must agree why the plastic surround on the bathroom ! You have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen so the mixed metals throughout the home is confusing. Primary bathroom is very small for that price point and to be honest all the bathrooms were lacking in terms of tile or anything elevated for the price point - the green paint not a good look. Extremely underwhelming choices on light fixtures and lighting choices. Large sink in the kitchen is fantastic, pot filler would have been a great addition. I don’t like the front door - there are many better options. Overall I agree with your personal opinions.
This space is used as a showcase for the interior design firm - so it may be a little more than most people would like in real life. Thanks for the input!
The design is off putting and hate the floors-not sure why builders think the variation in wood color for floors is attractive. It is very distracting and off putting.
The color variation in wood floors is much less noticeable once furniture is in place. But I agree with you, I prefer more solid color wood tones. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment.
It's called personal style or even ones own preference. As a home flipper AND a custom home builder I can attest that there are TONS of people out there who love this style of flooring. We literally just finished a home where the lady wanted varying shades of gray done in this style - she *LOVED* it!!!
I personally love the wet room in the master bath. I watch these to see different concepts. In a model home like this, they’re going to showcase different finishes. Some you’ll love and some you won’t
Why, when your comment doesn't even make any sense? And how is it exactly you know they're fake?? I swear I'm all but convinced that some of you only watch these kinds of videos just to have something to bitch about...
Oh wow! The glassed-in shower / tub area was one of my favorite features of this home! That's what makes these home tours valuable - deciding which trends you like and which you don't. There's something for everyone! Thanks for watching!
The "wet room", as they're called, have become all the rage in new construction as well as renovations these days. I was in a waterfront, multi-million dollar home in Miami Beach last weekend in a home with THREE wet rooms in it - one in the primary on the main floor, another in the upstairs primary and the third in the in-law suite. All 6 bedrooms had phenomenal baths. For $30 million it should have!! 😂😂
Did I see a wall mount a/c in one of the bedrooms? A million plus house and it doesn't have central a/c. Might explain why it's been on the market for 212 days in a crazy market and near Asheville which is overpriced anyways. Good luck selling, your probably going to need it
This home is really beautiful! However, some design choices were a little underwhelming. Also, I agree with your personal opinions at the end too. I would choose clear glass front door, pot filler and larger deeper double sink. I was surprised to see the fluorescent lights in the closets, why not can lights instead. Actually, I would change all the lights in the home. My one cent thoughts.🤣
It's always interesting to see the choices when builders are building a spec home. I have mixed feelings on the fluorescent lights in the closets - while I find them very unflattering and generally unappealing, I do like a very well lit closet so I can tell navy from black. But, I agree - lots of great details in this home. Thanks for watching and I love reading your thoughts.
I agree. And, you're right, the setting is so peaceful and feels so remote. But it's only a few minutes to shopping, restaurants and services. Thanks for watching!
A much much much better floor plan than most open plan homes!! No views of beds from public areas...No grand view of the master bed from the great room. How refreshing. The architect has a great feel for what it is like to live in an open plan home. Good job!!
