Described by Singapore Straits Times as ‘a chamber musician of the highest order’, and a ‘national treasure’, and her playing as ‘truly transcendent’, Tee Khoon was named one of the 40 under 40 faces to watch by Prestige Singapore and the second-ever violinist to be awarded the loan of a J.B. Guadagnini violin by the National Arts Council in Singapore.
Tee Khoon performs internationally as a recitalist and a chamber musician and directs a chamber music series in Singapore that works actively to maintain an international level of chamber music performance in her home country.
Presenting 2 projects a year consisting of formal Evening Concerts, interactive Concerts for Children, and activities within the communities like open rehearsals, school workshops, listening sessions and an internship program, TTK Grand Series seeks to use music and the arts to cultivate compassionate understanding and connection between people, and to inspire the love of classical music in all.
This is a beautiful piece of music. I would love to play this, but I'm unable to find the score with clarinet instead of violin. Where can this arrangement be found?
Hauntingly beautiful... and delightfully playful. Exquisite! I didn't intend to listen to 40 plus minutes of chamber music this morning, but once I started listening I simply couldn't stop. Watching the pianist dance along the keys with his eyes following the other performers was thrilling. Imagine being that alive. Thanks to all the performers and to Dvorak for creating this treasure.
It appears to me that Eckart Runge may be equipped with and wearing cochlear implants. If so, I am glad they are working well for him. He is making great music with the others, for sure, here!
In my 76 years I have heard countless performances of Brahms Op 114. This is an outstanding performance. Wonderfully recorded with superb balance between the three equal instruments. Also can I thank you giving details of the wonderful performers.
Most performers use a tablet and Bluetooth-connected footpad. Right-click to turn the page, and left-click to go back to previously. I hope it helped your curiosity.
