Most content about Israel in English is either religiously centered, foreign policy centered, or politically centered. Nothing is highlighting the amazing people and culture of Israel.

How does he know that many Poles collaborated with Nazis when the organisations, Jewish, international ones consisted of Jews determined that Poland had the smallest number of occupiers among all Europeans occupied countries and the highest number of Righteous Among Nations. You don’t have to believe me, check the Historic sources. Also, Poles wanted youth to participate in organised by Poles or Israelis meetings when they talk to each other. The problem of limiting the weapons and assault rifles held by Shin-Beth was discussed. In Poland it’s illegal to possess that kind of weapons. Israeli side disagreed and said that Israeli Youth will not come to Poland anymore if these are Polish conditions. That was Israeli politicians’ decision, not a Polish one. Being vegan, for me, is to feel empathy for all life, without distinction (dog, cat, pig, cow, ant...). Being vegan is to feel obliged to help and support the oppressed, the innocent who can't talk, the lives that are slaved/tortured/cut short/taken away by choosing to stop contributing and buying their products. Being vegan is to try to cause them the least suffering possible. Does your love and empathy for animals extend to human beings? I am interested to know.
As a Polish person I can tell you that Poles have nothing against the March of the Living or any Jewish celebration in Poland. It's true that a couple of Shin-Bet agents were pushing Polish teenagers who wanted to talk to Israelis and it wasn't the nicest behavior but we understand it's because of safety. The problem is the fact that Polish law (which no one fully likes) directed at those who call death camps "Polish death camps" instead of "Nazi German concentration camps in occupied Poland" was misunderstood in Israel as anti those who would say that there were Poles that collaborated with Nazis. Of course there were and we are taught at school about Jedwabne but only small minority were scumbags. The majority either saved Jews or tried not to stand on their way of escaping. Poles were the first prisoners of concentration camps, 20% of the whole Polish nation was exterminated by Nazis or Soviets because we never surrendered or collaborated and we lost 53% of our territory in WWII.

4:00 even though it started off nicely, I got severely burned by the lack of oversight. There's significant safety issues that just make me avoid the website. It really depends on who you meet that makes or breaks it - but the people who aren't nice when given a platform destroys anything good. This is what I hope meetup fixes - to not let wrongdoing hold.
I used meetup many times in my life way long ago - but the issue with it is the meeting in person. While I got some value out of it - meeting in person put a severe strain on me. I only meet people online now. I just can't do in person anymore, and it's not for me. Some people prefer it, I avoid it. I really don't like in person at all. I use the online event platforms instead if anything. Still - event formats are extremely hard to sustain and be a part of - I gave up that too just to have free flowing living. It's the most peaceful, stress-free way of existing - that if someone wants to meet - cool. If not, you're still getting stuff done - and so it doesn't matter if you don't meet - you still got a lot done - because nothing's concrete nor guaranteed, so you don't have to worry about letdowns. Work doesn't end just because an event does.
I never said I don't like people - I just don't want to meet in person anymore. I meet online and it's been way better than in person. The in person format is difficult to dedicate to. I think in person's for extroverts and online's for introverts. To each their own - something for everyone. If in person made sense - sure, I don't mind. I just live in an area where meeting in person isn't ideal.@@wkrp01
wow - wanting eucalyptus trees as a symbol of israel. Zoos in israel being irresponsible. Why on earth does israel even have zoos to create these issues? I know sometimes zoos want to save a species, but then it comes at the cost of many others. Is it truly worth it? To me, it makes more sense to do things in a way that works, and that involves not having animals outside of their natural habitat and geographically native region if it can be avoided with protections in place there. Too many zoos deplete wild populations under the guise of 'saving the species' only to harm it in the process. It doesn't work.

Maybe you can stop one person from doing something, only for it to start up somewhere else - and then you're just restricting your own self at that point by stretching yourself too thin. It just doesn't work once you start getting into banning - because it's unsustainable - how long can you keep something from happening? And if you do - maybe you create weakness - where a threat comes out of nowhere and no one prepared for it - due to never knowing about it! It goes past joining something you didn't know better about, but for those who don't join - the ignorance can lead them to a greater ill fate than if those that're destructive exist and are allowed to exhibit themselves. Then people can know about their existence to prep and monitor anything to come. Just blocking sends things underground in a way that's harder to see. Banning bad just weakens good unfortunately! People won't believe something until it's too late, and then we'll just get another WWII, which is not good at all! We should prevent that - through having the greatest freedom and anti-violence as possible!

People are allowed to be discriminatory - otherwise we couldn't do anything - as every action that is taken on a daily basis is that - it helps one at the sake of the other. If you go to say a chinese restaurant - you're giving money to prop up chinese culture at the sake of everything else. Even if something isn't racist - you going to say a library - props up that one at the sake of all the others - as you're ditching the rest. You can't eliminate discrimination - and also it's free speech. It just is important to educate people on the context of everything - if it's not known, and as long as you're not impeding the ability of others to decide not to include it in their own lives (like being able to escape violence, not join something they don't like, rebuttal through commentary, etc.) and exhibit their own free speech - then it's fine. Once we start censorship and banning, then we have no more freedom. That's why I'm against privacy laws - it's a personal responsibility what we have. That's why it's important to ban violence, cults, etc. - because it interferes with the ability of others to say no and express their free speech. But we can't be banning through singling one out over the other - as that's discriminatory and not free speech for all. One time someone said that neo nazis shouldn't be allowed in restaurants - but that's discrimination - and goes against public laws - where anyone can be allowed to eat anywhere - as long as it's not disruptive and just conducive towards appropriate actions for that situation (like eating, rather than exhibiting violence).

15:06 israel needs more funding and to hire more jews that're in the diaspora to come in with larger salaries. Right now, Israel is lacking in resources. Actually because its land is small - it's hard to build these large structures that're needed. At most it can just be an outpost. And that's really what's missing here. Israel wants to be a hub when it doesn't realize its real market is in being a connector outpost! Once it achieves the outpost position - it can be a potential hub. That's when you can get large companies. The US and China succeed with large land and populations. I would have to say if Israel wants more land - they'd either have to buy up land around them, or they will need to build in the virtual space - like the metaverse. Meta is a good company trying to do that. That's how you can build more land!
13:24 my guess is the size - that israel right now just isn't big enough - and it's too new. It's facing terrible challenges and once more people come in, invest, and build - then it'll build bigger.
