I call BS. The world record is 22.5 lbs caught in Manitoba, Canada just east of Lake Winnepeg. In WV, you have to throw all walleye back less than 29 inches. Just a matter of time until the world record comes from here. The current state record is 19lbs 15 ounces.

A generation of juvenile halibut that because of mercury poison are really stupid... Short bus window licking halibut! Me, I was a commercial fisherman and I owned my own salmon troller. The Best buy catch we would get would be a chicken halibut. Read for Liam on the spot throw them on ice and eat them that evening. And yes they're really good but there's no such thing as a bad halibut. But you're probably a vegan, right? You guys run these silly vegan ads but say you can't eat anything with a face. Then you have a picture of a cute little pig. Here's an idea... Run the same ad but instead of using a cute little pig use the face of a lingcod.

My first fishing charter I caught a 54 lb 8 oz dolphin, The captain yelled "that's a citation fish", I yelled cut it loose. I thought citation fish in North Carolina was a bad thing. He said no it's a trophy fish. Anyway after fighting this thing for 20-30 minutes the first mate missed the gaff and I had to fight it all over again. Great day! To bad my GF at the time was pregnant and we were in heavy seas and she was puking about every minute so we had to cut it short!
