Televison and Music will always promote the worst sides of us because the excuse is people will continue to watch, even after they find out the producers influence drama to take place (not reality). So if it is an agenda, then we make it easy for them because Folks don't stand by standards due to pressure from majority. I'm guilty of it but as far as black folks go, Flavor of Love was the catalyst and it tricked down to shows like LAHH, Bad Girls Club..ect.

Men and women who have a "friendship" that revolves around sex, or at least the pursuit of sex, don't have a real friendship. That said, leaving sex out of the equation, men and women can indeed genuinely be friends. But one must understand that the more a man and a woman establish a genuine friendship with each other, the more at least one of them might believe they found their soulmate and as a result will want to upgrade the relationship more than what it is. Every single woman who I was close friends with over the years has eventually proposed the idea of us being in a relationship, to which I rejected and still maintain a very close friendship with them today.

Even family members can be snakes. Whenever I was sick in the hospital not a single one of my cousins (first cousins) called or texted me. My cousin has cancer now and I called and texted her. It really is a cold world and somethings you unfortunately have to find out the hard way.

I think as women we get so happy when we are chosen, we accept whatever is given to us. I am a divorced 43 year old woman who was married to a grown boy for 13 years. I didn’t realize how much I settled and low balled myself just because I wanted to be married. He just wanted to be taken care of and that’s what I did. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get married again unless it’s to a mature man. But many years I put him first and lost myself in the process. Times are changing but I do think Nelly should have got a dinner together with her closest friends and family to propose. That proposal is an old school in the bed, just to get it over with proposal. Her standards are not very high and she’s pregnant so she is just happy to get what she gets. It does seem like true love from the pictures. I wish them forever in happiness.❤❤❤

True Love doesn’t have to be broad casted in front of a lot of people to prove anything to anyone. It’s none of our business. They have been through a lot and they don’t have to show off for none of us. They have a genuine relationship to where they can be authentic not flashy.
