Great video! I have to fly to every port…what I have started doing is purchasing toiletries once I arrive at the port. I usually fly in the day before. This really helps me with less liquids😀

I couldn't agree more with your point on arriving the day before. I couldn't believe on a recent cruise I took how many people had completed a Transatlantic journey overnight that day. Above anything else, I couldn't imagine how jet lagged they must have been... Great video, both!
Definitely go the day before…luggage gets lost, weather, airline issues….one cruise we decided to also stay the day after and return home on Monday. WOW what a difference! Day before nice start to a cruise, but after the cruise it was so relaxing. We didn’t worry about hurrying to get off the ship, easy to get a taxi or Uber later than at say 7:30-8, enjoyed lunch and dinner at restaurants plus shopping at the city.
@@dawn1666 it was wonderful!!! Thank you for the kind words. If possible you should check into a couple shorter cruises. It is much less expensive to do 2-3 cruises in a row by changing ships. We went on carnival - celebrity- then Royal Caribbean. It was amazing different shows- food- ports and cost less than 2 week cruise. 😁

@michellesaltamachia8503 Excellent question. We have not added key words for search however I love the suggestion and we will begin!! We are cruising on jubilee and booked our excursions and will post immediately after on our RU-vid. In the meantime if you are going to costa Maya. Roatan. Cozumel. Half moon. Nassau or the US Virgin Islands we have all of the ports and excursions we have reviewed in playlists. On our RU-vid home page- click playlists- select the port you will visit. We have 10-20 min videos + 30 sec shorts for a visual. I hope that helps.
Thanks guys..I love your videos very helpful and informative. Your photos of shows at the beginning and performers in different colours. Which show was this?...which shows would recommend? Can you also advise on the perks of 'The key?' and whether this was cost effective?
Glad you like them! Thank you for the kind words !!! The color outfit at the beginning of video is the effector show in the main theater. 🎭 it is absolutely mind blowing. Nothing like it on other ships. Drones. It is a good vs bad show like Marvel Avengers. We purchased the key- just to be on safe side however we have not since as we did not feel it was needed. We just returned from Icon and Harmony and walked right on at embarkation and secured shows before we went.

@@dianeperry3490 absolutely!! We bought a day pass directly from Atlantis and took a $5 taxi to hotel. Bonus- you are not confined to the hours of the excursion and much cheaper. Have fun!!!

Can't wait to be on this ship in 18 days!! We have a few newbies to cruising! Hope they love it as much as we do. I must admit I'm a tad nervous with the older/smaller ship. As our last 3 cruises have been on Carnival XL ships. Are we going to regret choosing such a small/old ship and short cruise?
We were the exact same way!!! We love celebration and Mardi Gras. Have you been on an older Carnival ship. We cruised Dream for our 1 and 2 cruise. It’s similar to that ship. I will say this ship felt WAY more crowded than the mega ships. The rooms were really dated too however , very clean. 😊. I don’t think you will regret the duration. This small ship was built for short cruises. We personally would not have wanted to cruise her for 7 days. However 3-4 days was ok.

Food- 4 😢 Casino- 10😊 Entertainment-9 for the only show they had however, since they only had ONE show and cancelled the other it made entertainment limited. With this in mind we sadly rate it - 5 😢 only because they need MORE shows. Cruise ship- old but holding up well - 7/8
@@ralphjankowski340 great question. The 2 times we stayed there this year it was just room however they had a breakfast included price too. The shuttle is $10 to cruise port. They drop you off at the porters and you can walk straight in after porters check your bag. It was super easy and really nice. The entire lower floor of hotel has shuttles to each cruise port. It was fun !!!
That is an excellent question. It is actually a smoke free casino. No smoking inside the ship. It was wonderful !!!! Another thing is all drinks - soda and alcohol are free if you are playing machines or tables. There are waiters that ask for your order about every 10 min. It was wonderful !!!!

We can honestly say the ship was beautiful ( and it’s older ship) I can’t even imagine what their new ship is like. Shows excellent. Food outstanding. Service was fantastic. I would cruise on this same ship anytime !!! Have a wonderful time. Don’t forget to check out the specialty restaurant area too!!! Tuscan grill view is BEYOND fantastic ❤
Excellent question. The cellar is a wine specialty bar and is in the bar lounge category and not technically listed as a specialty restaurant as it is not a set price. They do offer food for extra fee if wanted ( my thought is it helps keeps the cellar more intimate for wine masters ). They do have small pastries and bites complementary outside the cellar in atrium where you can hang out with drinks and tables. 😊
