Going to test drive basically this exact car, a ‘24 black civic sport manual, later today. Will be my first manual learning experience, decen definitely watching videos up till I still in the dealer lmao Great video!! Thank you :)
If you’re coming to a stop while you’re in third gear do you brake then clutch and neutral or what? Or if you’re in a higher gear like 5th and you’re coming to a stop do you brake then after clutch in and go into neutral or do you do it at the same time.. idk I might sound stupid rn
Hey man, I’ve got a 2024 Black Civic Sport. I honestly would’ve gotten an SI if I knew how to drive manual, but I don’t so that being said are all the performance parts the same. I know it’s not a turbo car so sounds will be different..
I did the exact same thing, brother. Watched videos, ordered the car, watched videos, received the car, watched videos, drove the car, watched videos, drove the car more often lol 22,000 miles later.. still loving it. I’m still watching videos every so often, just for my own comparisons.
I was fortunate that my dad had a manual Mazda pickup to teach me on when I was 15. Most Americans now have no access to a manual car to learn on because they’ve become so rare. It does feel like you have a skill few people have. I test drove a Civic Si and the salesman had me pull it out and park it again because he couldn’t drive it.
Nice build. Its nice to see the Si get some love. Type Rs are cool and all but to see a channel dump 10s of thousands of dollars to a type R in 5 episodes is nothing special. Slow builds are more my type. Keep the content coming
You need to build that engine if you're going to increase the power. Owners out there doing simple bolt ons and a level 1 tune have blown their engine. Do your research on the L15CA. Plenty of reputable engine builders advising against modifying this car. Weakest points are rods, rod bolts, head studs, head gasket, and clutch. I also own a 2024 and it will remain stock unless I decide to fully build the engine. I agree fun car to drive.
Been driving my FL5 since November so why am I watching this? Idk....fellow Honda drivers just seem chill for the most part🤣 Good Job with the video! You explained it very nicely!
Dude what who are you 🤣, I’ve never had to peel this tint ever and i live in Florida. No cop has ever pulled me over for my tint, your speaking a whole lot of nonsense
Nah that’s where your wrong, I’ve had the car more than 5 months and I park on the same spot on my drive way, no leaks on the floor, I do an engine inspection no leaks from hoses nor the engine itself, and the oil temp is fine and I let the car warm up and cool down after driving.
@@Yeidisson11thgensi you only had it for 5 months watch when you have it for 2 years. You keep arguing with a man who has worked for Honda for 25 years.
Nice video!! I recently traded in my 2018 black civic si for a 2024 black civic si. I like the carbon fiber inlets but personally I like the piano black ones it comes with stock. I would love to add the short ram intake and other parts you added your car sounds amazing!!!
Would you consider getting the Cold Air conversion kit for the PRL intake or would you stick with the short ram intake? I hear these cars get pretty bad heatsoak after only a couple of pull with a short ram. Havent decided on an intake system for mine yet. 10th gen… but still all gery similar.
