Photographer here in Fairbanks Alaska, but I drive statewide. Just sharing some of the amazing things that I see. Most of the footage is taken with either a Sony Camera of some sort, or DJI drone. This land that I live in is truly amazing, and just sharing some of the adventures that I have
Awesome! I've only seen an Aurora (Aurora Australis) once before when I was living at latitude 28.53 south, in a small town on the coast of Northern New South Wales back in the early 1990s. Fortunately, there was hardly any light pollution, and the RED Aurora Australis could clearly be seen spanning the southern horizon. It was quite vivid, like a forest fire glowing deep red. Currently I'm at 17 degrees south so I don't expect to see one here, well HOPEFULLY NOT!!! 🙂
Love Denali late August early September. My sister and I would stay at Camp Denali (mp 90) for several days. Age has made hiking difficult at best these days, so rely on videos to do my hiking.
Steve you put it perfectly!!! When we were there it was simply amazing and like you said, unless you actually get to experience Alaska, you really can’t appreciate it!
Nice bumping into you and sharing the Triple Lakes Trail earlier this month. Was this drone following your motorcoach while you were driving with automatic tracking?
You need low tire pressures (like near 0) to drive on snow so you spread your weight. But sometimes you wanna get on like an actual paved roads. And for the artic it's a lot nicer if you don't have to get out for 20+ min to do that everything.
This is awesome ! Our tour group was there around the same time; we just got back into town. So glad you got this on drone-cam ! It is impossible to show all of this in photographs
