Well Lawrence, I’ve decided to follow you from my primary account because of your realness. I appreciate the truth on your words as well as your warrior heart. And you had me laughing over hear, because you’re funny because you’re so real. Aho! Keep it real, and blessings to you and yours, George Silver Hawk
I hate to admit it but i just got some turbo 77's and they get hot after like 5min near the grip area which is essentially an outlaw just black chrome and black rubber. Honestly my Wahl seniors have more umph to them but those bastards get got too 😆 Next to the Old school Lucky Dog Fast Feed body detachable clippers or Oster 616 detachable clipper which are just phenomenal. This corded Outlaw/Turbo77 Ergonomically hands down it's the best detachable clipper after those few i mentioned. Corded!!!
Why this Wahl Balding has only 1.5 and 4mm options heads??? I planned to use it as a beard trimmer, but how can you if it has only three settings - bald, 1,5mm and 4mm. Weird
These are for professionals, the reason they snag is because you could be going too fast, these blades have fine teeth so they don’t pick up a lot of hair OR you may not be angling them correctly
@@heavyarms39 I saw something online on how to use sand paper to file down the teeth. It now shaves like a dream no more snagging or cuts and now gives me a close clean shave. I cannot find the video I would have left a link.
Please try not to zero gap, when I did that they kept pinching both myself and my clients so I went back to the original factory settings and they were more than helpful every single time
Hi, does zero gapping get the same result as the Balding clipper? I zero gapped my Wahl for my buzzcut, not sure if it is worth purchasing the Balding clipper.
Very helpful! I've been looking into a new head shaving device as blades (even DE) and foils give me terrible bumps. Every review I read or watch about the balding clippers keep telling me it's the closest non-blade or foil shave one can get. Cheers from another Central FL guy!
@@littlemrl5539 As a whole they work really well if you are looking for the closest possible buzz cut without using a blade or some kind of 'shaver' (electric foil or rotary for example). They are very heavy in the hand vs 'normal' clippers and it can be difficult to use for a daily buzz. I ended up sending mine back because they kept tripping my gfci outlet (new outlet, nothing else I plug into it gives me issues), same thing happened with my wahl peanut. For some reason the pro level wahl products have a larger cord and plug that blows my outlets. I ultimately ended up keeping a cheap kemei zero gapped cordless trimmer I got for about $20. It cuts just as close, is much easier to use, and is cordless. Ultimately I find the 'peachfuzz' annoying and end up finishing with a foil shaver.
I always wrap my cord around the clipper itself when I’m done for storage till I shave my head the next time. It gets horrible kinks in it , could that possibly effect the strength of power ? I feel like it’s losing some power and I’ve only had it 6 months . If so is there a better way to store it ?
Fantastic! My barber career is on hold till health gets better.Had second heart attack in two years but about to have surgery next week to hopefully improve quality of life.
Keep spreading the "detachable clipper" revolution. Too any follow others and wonder why clients don't see them as anything special and often leave for another barber. Your following an "Old School" process that has long yielded spectacular results...With God's help I'll be back soon!
My girl has the balding clippers she is a hairdresser. I have full head of really thick hair and is so hot now (June July august)in Vegas so I decided to just go cut my hair off. She went into her case and pulled this clippers and she mowed it down in no time. Heck I was so impressed by the performance I went to sallys and bought them and in less than 3 min I cut like one inch off like butter. No cuts no snags. This guy right her knows what he is talking about. Definitely recomended . Great review and explanation as to why they are so useful. Thanks man.
Could use your help I'm currently using my trimmers to bald was thinking about buying a 00000 blade for my model 10 and using that to bald would it be the same as the wahl balding?
TheWetShavingBarber Cadence is a rhythm that repeats itself throughout your presentation. A lot of folk mentioned you had a nice voice. That is a gift from God (seriously). Cadence is a learned skill. You find it in good music, good reads, and good oration. Try scripting your message. Your first few sentences had a cadence but after you said you were new to the game it went away. Yes, I agree with everyone about your voice. As a consultant I earn $200 per hour for the kind of advice I am offering for free. Looking forward to hearing some more from you.
I disagree about the Barber competitions. I've never competed myself however, I've worked in a shop at had a Barber that had won a lot of trophies in the past. When people see that when they come in they're going to want to go to him thinking that he is the best Barber there.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having this type of performance issues with this Clipper its been very good to me however and in answer to your question if it's available I would return this particular Clipper because it sounds like a product malfunction if not then the option of getting another blade would be best but try to return it first
I had the same problem. I got rid of them. I use an Andis T Outliner for now until I find something else that works without leaving marks or ingrown hairs.
Sadly so many see popular barbers review of a haircut process and automatically magically ZERO GAP every clipper they get without ever trying to see the out-the-box performance. I was one of those people till I discovered the best way with this clipper is use it a few times right out the box before you adjust
You have a very trusting voice...not in a way i would feel comfortable trusting you with my child....but feel like u know what ur doing when you talk about these blades.
19 84 R good to hear from you. Check out this video of mine. It answers your Forex blades ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vp5e1mRQ59E.html
Great run down of detachable blade options. I have invested in a complete set of Oster detachable blades, including a flattop blade. Coupled with an Oster Titan and Model 10, this is a pretty expensive system designed to last and the results are very good. Nice smooth haircutting. I find detachable blades are durable, quickly attachable/detachable well performing blades. They do need a little loving. I deal with a very good blade technician who sharpens and adjust my blades on regularly. The secret weapon is the 1A and the 0A blades. Just the right difference in depth to get that taper or fade nice and smooth.
