We bought tickets to this concert back in January but due to certain circumstances were unable to attend last minute. I know it's not the same as being there, but I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. It would have been my very first time seeing his music performed in person and I'm glad I was able to experience some of this beautiful music performed at the show I was planning to attend - through your video. Thank you so much for sharing what looks like was an amazing show.

Thank you for sharing! I was in the 200's in the corner on your same side. I've watched the 25 years Budokan concert so many times and I was sooo happy with the little things he did to change it up. For example, Totoro march is usually "meh" for me, but it was completely awesome here! I'm also really happy to have seen/heard his daughter, but I wish they would have done Rondo of the House of Sunflowers... it's HER song, after all and she's sooooo good in it :P The lyrics make me shed a tear every time.
Fujisawa Mai. Her name. Look how far she's come in her vocal performances. Just like her pops in his compositions. A dad and his precious daughter. Both blessed with talents like these as contributors with song. God gave us these gifts.
Im at a loss for words to how amazing this is. Such young musicians with immense feeling and color! The delicate Strings, the commanding English Horn, the control of the high registers with the Flutes and Clarinets! Bassoons in a youth ensemble!! Amazing work GCTYO - Bravo!!!
