Hello and welcome to my channel where I have free GIS tutorials, run-throughs and webinars from my online training courses. If you're interested in my online training courses, feel free to check out my website www.learn.gis-express.com
I have the same problem when you try to search for Westhill, survey does not find it, but I am using a CSV file, could you explain to me how to solve that problem?
No more music! I watched your other hour long video from 2022 (no music) and it was GREAT. The music is quite distracting to me; you're really good presenter and you don't need the music.
Rather than using the ArcGIS for Excel plug-in to store X, Y data in a table to plot points by address, I'm wondering if you have discovered a way to link/store polygon/feature class boundary files in a cell to link a feature in the excel table to a polygon on the map?
I really enjoyed that song, but I could hear someone in the background rambling on about maps or something...can we please turn him down and repost this with only the music? thanks for the vid!
I followed the example and succeeded in creating the form, but the pulldata only works on the desktop or mobile app, it doesn't work on the web. I was told it could be the old version, but I'm using survey123 connect version 3.19. Does anyone know what it could be?
With the List widget selected, look in the right column for the Content tab. Then click Tools. When you activate Search, it'll then ask which field or fields you want to let users search, whether or not you want an exact match, and any hint text. I did one that has a list of businesses and allowed the users to search for business name or search within their description of goods and services.
So... after doing all this I find out that the free version cannot open files that are "too complex". Meanwhile all this in QGIS can be done for free very easily.
To quote Captain Holt's response in Brooklyn 99 when he tried to pull off a new hat: "I tried something and it didn't work!" The background music sucks - here's the version without any music: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u4VU-sLUGX4.htmlsi=wqiOConmQZw7SAlP
Thanks for the video ^^ It is awesome. I only have one question. I was trying to use pulldata() with a select_multiple type and I can't get the multiple value from the selection, I only get the first one. Do you have any idea how to achive it?
Is there any way to make a map series with a layer with overlapping polygons (polygons of rooms categorizad as room_code in floors 1 2 3 with a field called "level") so when I call the page of room_code 303 show it surrounded only for the spaces of the floor 3 "field level:3"? I tried calling the field "level" as the Name Field and show all the polygons in level 3... but colorize all the floor and not only the room 303. Hope you can understand my question because in not good writing in English 😉
